Another reason as to why the US don't do this is that there are too many people. what is it, like 340-350 million? Sweden is around 10. It's feasible in countries like Norway, Iceland, Sweden and Denmark, beyond that it's going to be difficult. And honestly, the amount of immigration to these countries will cause a massive shift and free anything will disappear.
Regarding immigration to the Scandinavian nations, there are changes coming and considering the issues that has presented itself, there absolutely should be change.
Sweden is still very safe. It nets about 100-110 murders per year. 10 miljon people.
Compare that with the city New Orleans alone with a population of 400k have around 300 murders per year.
It´s off the charts.
The problem isn't immigration, the problem is segregation (and our drug laws). Don't blame the immigrants. They didn't decide to build the suburbs and place everyone there.
