- Yo What's up guys today we are reacting to the evolution of anime series from years 1960 to 2020 and it was interesting seeing how far anime has come throughout the years. The video came out 3 years ago but we thought it'd be a good watch for us to react to and see how old some of these animes are. Some of the TMC members weren't even alive when the big 3 anime came out haha. Hope you guys enjoy our reaction and let us know what your first anime was.

Fun fact- Kimba is the original lion king. Simba was western adaptation of Kimba.

@@TMC_Impact not to ruin the fun, but Kimba is the americanized version of the original Japanese Jungle Emperor series, in which the lion is named Leo not Kimba, they originally thought Simba wasn't a marketable enough name, so his name became Kimba.
And one last thing, the Lion King is not an adaptation of Kimba at all, they are both just stories set in Africa featuring animals that live there.
Just wanted to correct the misinformation that Lion King is just Kimba or Ripped Off Kimba.
The first ever mecha anime is Gigantor (1963). The first anime to have a mecha being piloted by the protagonist from within a cockpit was the Super Robot show Mazinger Z (1972). Mazinger Z or Tranzor Z in the United States introduced concepts of mecha as pilotable war machines, rather than remote-controlled robots. Gundam was influenced by Space Battleship Yamato. Space Battleship Yamato or Star Blazers in some countries is one of the most influential anime series in Japan. Its turn toward serious themes and complex storylines influenced future works in the medium, including Gundam, Evangelion, and Macross, in addition to influencing the style of video games such as Space Invaders. It also got a remake recently.
Star of the Giants was the first ever sports-themed anime series. Attack No. 1 was the first volleyball anime and the first shoujo sports anime.
When I watch the 'Astro Boy Atom' TV series and movies, it feels like Walt Disney Studios.
So, if a new remake "Astro Boy Atom" movies and TV series are released in the long-term future, we hope "Astro Boy Atom" movies and TV series should/will be produced by Walt Disney Animation Studio.
I would even like a lot of cameo characters (+ humans&robots) (in the new (different) ancestor universe) from other Walt Disney studio movies to be featured in this TV series and movies.
