- It's Groundhog Day! After we just recently dined at Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom, Disney decided to revamp the menu. While our last experience here wasn't the best, this restaurant has a nostalgic hold in our hearts. We felt the need to come back and see if this new menu helps to better encapsulate the theme and experience this restaurant has to offer. We have reservations there in October. It’s an old favorite of ours and I’m psyched that they changed the menu from when you were last there. I’m all over the turkey club!

I have to tell you, on Aug 25th around 6 I saw you guys walking into Boatwright's for dinner. We were waiting for the carriage ride when you walked by. You didn't seem to be filming and were with friends so I didn't want to be rude and interrupt you, but I was beyond excited to see you there. Made me so happy. It was our first full day there for this trip.

Another great review. I am glad you went back! So now ..based on your reviews we made reservations for the new Japanese restaurant and now Plaza! Could you maybe go to California Grill again before October? lol. We have reservations but they changed the menu! No won-tons! Again. Thank you :)

the impossible chili burger has been around for several years. We always get that. I wonder if you can order the bacon burger without the bacon.

They weren’t bad, just very plain. A little salt never hurt nobody 😅

To me, those are the signature items here. That hot open sandwich and ice cream were 🔥. Great choices 🙂.

Wow, what a view through the window! You would be hard-pressed to get a better seat than that at any of the Magic Kingdom restaurants 😁 I appreciate that you guys are always open to giving a restaurant another shot, even if the first experience was something of a letdown. The turkey club actually looked pretty good to me! Seven is a strong rating for a sandwich, particularly if it's a sandwich that's traditionally served as a cold cut. The layer cake looks like it'd be a bit too rich for me, but all the same, it's a bummer to hear that it was kind of lackluster. As for the milkshake (brownie), I often find that the massive piece of cake or similar carb(s) crammed into the top is the weakest element of the ensemble - if it's true at Hershey, it can be true anywhere! 😉 The rest of it looked and sounded solid, though! Glad you all had a better 'Groundhog Day' at the Plaza Restaurant haha Great video! ✨
This restaurant has such a unique atmosphere and the views are underrated. If park food is anything, it's inconsistent and we're so happy the new menu was 🔥. Turkey Club and honestly everything was great except for the cake. Can't go wrong with Edy's ice cream shakes with spiced pecans 😋. Definitely a better Groundhog Day than last 🙂. Thank you!

Very true, it does look like the price went up a bit when they revamped the menu. I tend to expect to pay the "resort premium" at Disney but this used to be one of the more cost effective meals.
Former LIer's unite! Even this go around, I am not sure Plaza would be a spot to hit up for me. It seems so underwhelming compared to other spots.
I think this is a great spot if you don't have a reservation and you stumble upon an opening. Nothing that will blow you away but with the menu change, it's a solid hearty meal in a beautiful asthetic. I'd definitely put Jungle Skipper, Liberty Tree Tavern and Be Our Guest above this though. LI represent!
