You don't have to push it twice , just hold it down longer the first time. Also you can program it to roll your windows down too while holding the unlock button down even longer. If you want to stop the windows during the process, just hit the lock button.

I just bought a ‘14 Sierra SLT. I did not know about the key fob function. Thank You, I appreciate the information.
Mirrors will fold if you hold it on the first press too. Do not have to press it twice.
Also, hold down the unlock button and all the windows will roll down. Press again (or the lock button, I can’t remember) and they’ll stop at that spot in case you don’t want them all the way down.
Also. Press lock then hold start to start the truck remotely AND lock then start to turn it off in case you’re delayed

Everybody already know the 2 stages of traction control? Push and hold traction control button, dash will tell you traction control off, keep holding it down for 15-20 sec and it will turn off stabilitrak, dash will show this aswell.... Let the burnouts begin

You can hit the button n hold it once and the mirrors will fold. And I second the fact that this is no secret. Tells you in plain English or whatever language your owner's manual came in.
Some of us bought one without an owners manual in the glove box. It's easier to Google and find stuff.

If it ain't broken don't fix it.
Press and release the unlock button once. Press it again quickly and hold it. All your windows will roll down. However you'll have to put them backup manually

When cycling the key in the on not start but on position and holding the lock and unlock buttons together puts your vehicle in tpms tire training mode.

You can hold the unlock in on the second press and it rolls the windows down, sadly no way to roll them up unless keys are in the truck .
Can also set up so that your windows and roof open on unlock function in the summer

Nice any videos on setting the seats? I’ve watched many videos I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t have the original key fob because he doesn’t have a number on the back and maybe that’s the way it won’t set.?
You dont have to press it twice, it works with one time press and hold.
Your keyfob looks like it escaped a 'Nam POW camp.

@@DustinT No worries bud. I have a 17 Silverado LTZ Midnight with 6.2 and my key fob probably looks worse than yours is. Just depends on how many keys you let it dance with in your pocket.

Government Broke Motors bought back my 2018 Silverado with 9,000 miles on it because engine and transmission both went bad, engine went out at 4800 and transmission flew apart at 9000, never buy that junk again

My 2017 Silverado LT doesn't give me that option. I do auto windows which ,as you said "nice to have on a hot day", I just hit auto start and A/C kicks on and then hit remote to make windows go down, the when I get back in the truck, all the hot air is gone.

on mine to fold the mirrors you dont have to push it twice , just hold lock down and it locks and folds mirrors and hold unlock and it unlocks and unfolds them, no double pushing needed, also if you hold down even longer it will roll all windows down
I know 15 years ago. Honda ridge line did lots on the pod windows up n down. Ya i now wonder if my 2016 ram will do that. Ill try. Its does not come with auto start. So i watched a video on my truck fob. Other day. Guys pushed lock 3 or 4 times and it started. Wish i new that in the winter. I look under dash. There is off on switch. And a lil black box. So i think someone had one in it. Idk?
if u pull your door handle twice on the inside it will unlock the doors

Dustin T Up until the 2017 model year you had to go to the dealership and have them update the software, which really sucks, but it's the only way. And that's if there's even anything available.

Highest level trim and you still can’t get push start - even without push start you still get two separate pieces for the keys. Seems like something from 10 years ago.
When I test drove it was that and the inability to get a center console in anything but High Country that steered me away.
I feel for you on the push start, my wife's car has that. And I like how you can just touch the door handle and unlock it on hers without having to push a button on the remote. It is definitely lacking in some features, especially for the price.
you don't need to get the HC for a center console... in fact in 2014 (I HAVE the LTZ) it was hard as hell to get 1 without it!
and I didn't want it! I wanted dual bench... which are the least common...
Wyatt Connolly weird - when I was at the dealer all they had were benches on their 2017s - the dealer told me it was only available with the HC trim so I walked away and got an F150 instead.

I got a 2018 gmc sierra truck on Monday but it didn't have the remote but I was told it had the equipment already installed light remote start keyless entry but it would cost me $420 to get it activated do you think that is something that can be done after market for Less or something I can do myself
Hey buddy! An experienced locksmith who has kept up with the times should be able to do it cheaper. I did some research and without the proper software, it looks like you can’t do it yourself
Will I have good news after the dealer did something to my truck I'm getting it for $120 installed but if you have more hacks to show us that would be sweet

I would think you could do it man, I believe you'd just need a wiring harness and the power fold mirrors. What trim model do you have?

Yeah further to this, you only need to hold down lock button for about a second when locking 5e vehicle and they’ll retract. On opening your truck, holding the unlock button down for a second will unfold after unlocking door. If you continue to hold button down, windows will all come down, provided their set that way in the convenience group settings.

I've been trying to figure this one out, i haven't seen the option to turn in on.... maybe mine doesn't have it
Dustin T most likely not, but the setting in my dad's 2016 LT is buried under a bunch of other settings, so it could just be hard to find.
BTW the pattern for the fob would be 2 presses of the unlock button in a quick succession, but on the second press, you push and hold until they open.
Dustin T in the touch screen settings go to remote start features it's in there.

My back windows are the same as yours ,but they came with the truck and the dealership wasn't sure what percentage they were. I wanted to get my front windows the same percentage

Your key fob os differemt from mine. The dealership probably programmed mine from another vehicle. Its oval shape
