Bob Seger is as real as it gets. This is a perfect example, a bikers anthem if there ever was one. Thanks for this one for sure.
This song to me is about someone trying to find themselves and taking that epic road trip to do so. The meeting of the girl is about another lost soul who realized that her place is her home whereas Bob hasnât found his place yet.

Bob Seger is a legend. You can't go wrong with his music, whether ballads or bangers. His career started in the 60s, he broke through in the 70s, hit it big in the 80s and kept playing concerts until the 2010s. The man is deservedly in the Rock and Roll hall of fame, but never got the nationwide acclaim as, say, Bruce Springsteen. He deserves it.
