- Talk about another buzzer beater when it comes to fishing. I had two days left in the season, and I caught a banger of a Walleye! I was and still am so pumped about catching this fish, since I was out already two more times before and never caught a thing. I must have used most of my lures today, but nothing worked until i used my flicker shad. Thanks again Tony for all your help!

Nice fish. This was north Brantford I’m assuming? I caught a bunch in the mid 20’s in February. I broke my finger on the 29th, so my season was over regardless. 😂
That awful that you broke your finger. You okay now? Mid 20’s walleyes are a very good size. Yes your assumption is right.
@@HookLineandKyleP I’m in a splint for 6 weeks, unfortunately. April 8th I can finally take it off and start rehabbing it. Just in time for some spring pre-spawn bass fishing on Lake Ontario. It’s good to take a break from time to time, so it’s alright.
When does the season close?
The season closes March 15th and reopens on the second Saturday in May.
