- Jason visits the USA-1 headquarters located in Ham Lake, MN and discusses a little Monster Truck history with one of the father's of Monster Trucks, Everett Jasmer.
JConcepts has released a new body, replicating Everett's original 1970 Chevy K10 which includes a very detailed decal sheet for fans to build their very own USA-1 Clod Buster.
Throughout this process, the design team has created body shells which fit a range of wheelbase lengths from 10.5” all the way to 13.” This spans a series of trucks beginning with the original Tamiya Clod Buster builds of the 1980’s all the way to current builds utilizing the JConcepts Regulator chassis conversion. The longer wheelbase bodies cover trucks such as the Axial SMT10 and many limited production runs and custom builds.
JConcepts is pleased to announce a new partnership with USA-1 4×4 and owner Everett Jasmer on the creation of a new decal package for the 1970 Chevy K10 USA-1 edition body. One of the most iconic names in the Monster Truck industry remains USA-1. The original built by Jasmer in the early 1980’s is a classic, and features several notable items added to the legacy Chevy build that provides its stance, looks and branding package.

Both him and Bob seem to be genuine nice guys.
Everett is such a cool humble guy, I always loved the early MT era when the emphasis was on actual racing and pulling, I lost intrest after the wrestling and cartoon trucks doing back flips took over. Recently got my first Clodbuster, when I get a second one it will be a USA1 or maybee if I get around to it and build a 3rd one Id love to have a Thunder Chicken if an extended cab S10 body ever becomes available.
I love how you can tell Jason is star struck during the interview
Cool vid!!! I can listen to Everett talk forever!
Knew Everett back in the day in Ham Lake Mn. He probably don’t recall me anymore but he was always a fantastic and humble guy. He always said, “Buy Silver”.
He was my neighbor growing up and I had no idea he owned usa 1
That was a really cool interview. Cool seeing how much appreciation he had for the time and details that were put into the graphics package. Made my day.
One of my favorite trucks of all time wish they stayed around
Wish he would bring her back USA 1 2021
Everett jasmer is a conspiracy theorists..
Always wondered why he didn’t come back with a new truck, not sure I quite understand his reasoning given how competitive racing of monster trucks was at its highest peak at the end of the 80’s into the 90’s.
This guy's whole truck premise is summed up in a single word and that is "different" and it's amazing
That blue pearl is something you really have to see in person. No camera I’ve ever seen is able to pick it up fully. The color is just stunning.
For sure brother
Amazing interview. Have both the 88 and 21 1/8 scale USA1's.
Awesome work on both the body and this interview, Jason! Good stuff!
tnx for the history lesson, love the USA-1 even more now. Rod really sent it!
Always enjoy hearing about the history of this awesome motorsport.
Great video! Everett is a very talented, knowledgeable and interesting man! He definitely made his mark in the foundation of monster trucks. What an amazing history!
👏👏👏👏 to J Concepts and all the awesome products that they are producing/coming out with. This body and decals look fantastic. All this truck needs is some chrome wheels. Either way this truck and everything else looks so cool.👍👍
I'd love to be able to buy a already painted and pre-trimmed body from the factory.
There are people out there, like me, who can't cut a body straightforward neither paint very well
Thank you for the best interview I have ever seen on my favorite monster truck thank you Everett jasmer and Jason
Great video. Thats was awesome seeing that interview and the trucks.
Love the original truck!!!!!
Thats cool, I'll always be a fan of the 1970 C10/K10 and I didnt know they had a newer more modern USA1 in current circuits.
Your the man Everett🇺🇸. God bless 🙏
Everett is a conspiracy theorist
Great stuff👍
I absolutely love the USA-1 MONSTER TRUCK!!! 😎
I seriously need these wheels and tires for my Rusty vxl 4×4, because it needs to float on the Snow, Water, Sand, Grass, and any other terrain I might happen to encounter!!!!! 😈
Also needing to be a softer compound that will balloon up a bit!!!!!
They forgot to mention about the Dan Patrick built chassis USA 1. I remember seeing a group photo outside of the USA 1 shop.
Wishing that koysho would bring this truck back nitro or electric that would be nice keep up the good work thank's for sharing 🙏🙏🙏🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲💪💪💪
It would be great to have a 1/8 scale or super ten kit
Ur wish has come true. Haha
Way kool to see this great peace of history still with us same with Everett USA/1 4IFE ps would like to know his take on monster truck racing today???
Is there any USA 1 retro video out there. ?? running through the mud u.s.a 1 vs krisume crusher or Grana Rama uphill challenge.. sharing is caring. Long time FAN..
everywhere in mn around me sucks for getting race kits n stuff tryna build my first and probably mess it up a bit
jconcepts I have a quick question does the regulator chassis kit fit the standard Tamiya clodbuster body
I went back and re-watched that 88 championship race between Rod and Rich and Bigfoot was ahead until the bobble at the 2nd jump/obstacle. If it wasn't for that we could have possibly had a different outcome of that 88 championship race.
I just got the Patriotic USA1 model kit. Where can I get detailed pictures??? Thanks
What about the original model I believe I have one of the originals
I understand his beliefs and even share the 1st racing mentality. However i do believe he should've finished the missing link usa 1 #3 and have it for display also. Or sell the chassis and have someone else finish it. I have a feel that after pandemic old school shows may surface once again.
T.N.T there's no other, or has not been anything close to real racing., Since. Unlike the WWE of monster trucks we have today. I hope real crush cars come back. U S A-1!!!!
Question. What were the "original 4 monster trucks?" I know USA-1 and Bigfoot but what were the other two?
King Kong & Bear Foot
@@davidarena2864 wasnt grave digger and the thunder beast around the same time?
usa 1 wow I love a 4x4 with a chrome roll bars. bigfoot separated from tnt when they pushed WWF style fake racing
Rod flipped a few trucks in 1989
The rc
Rc truck needs aluminum wheels
