i'd say he's been happy with his content since 2017. that's when he moved out of office and stopped focusing on the business aspect of youtube. he became an independent creator again and decided that he was just going to make videos about whatever he wanted to. in his 2017 year review even he said that despite the controversies, his choice to make content he's happy with brought back the sense of community he thought he lost.
