That music I literally felt like I was shopping for clothes
Yes, I apologize- was new at at editing back then!
I INSTALLED ONE ON MY CROSSBOW ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO . ALSO PUT A BRESSLER ON MY OTHER CROSSBOW . THE LASERWORKS MODEL IS GREAT . NO IM IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING A PARD 007 NIGHT VISION SCOPE CLIP ON TO HUNT HOGS AT NIGHT WITH .
If only if mounted to the side. This thing is neat.
I know this is a year old but they do them with top laser and choice of bottom or left/right side mounting now; this one had the intention of using it as range and sights the new ones are just range
I love it but the button that turns it on/off came off and they wanted $30 to send me one because they do not have a parts dealer in the U.S.A. It does work very well.
I bought the Garmin xero x1i and it's worth it. Burris is releasing a new one. Also halo is realeasing most simplistic and great settup
I never heard of this company. Omega 2 Lil bow peep u may like too. If buying a complete upgrade I recommend Ten Point Havoc RS440 Xero thats what I just bought
@@Indictedheart Thanks Chris, I was looking at the RS440, it looks great.
Sits very high n makes bow look clumsy? But if it works for you, great?
Yes, agree!
So you know what that picatinny rail extension is
Sorry, I don't.
hi ive got a firecat 175lb. ive currently got a red dot scope on and wondering what would be a good normal scope with a range finder like this.
Sorry for the late response, almost any scope will work.
For the love of God, when will people on youtube stop adding noise on top of their spoken words???
A problem I’ve had with it is that when in the woods the IR picks up other brush and stuff. I have a night vision scope and the actual IR from this ranger finder is not a dot but rather it projects a horizontal IR laser bar from left to right. Not sure I make sense but just wondered if you had any problems ranging in the woods with more brush etc
I have no experience with this range finder in the woods. Thank you for the knowledge- still learning about it.
Does that have angle compensation?
I'm not certain if it specifies angle compensation, but it has been accurate from an elevated platform. Hope this helps.
I was wondering how that rangefinder is holding up?
I bought a “Bresser Ambition” last year. Which was meant for bows and Crossbows. It works fine, only problem their mounting systems are horrible, and often just break loose. Plus the shape of it is just too tall.
I just can’t understand why no one has marketed a crossbow scope with built in laser rangefinder . With the popularity of Crossbows it would sell like mad!
I agree with you Don on the marketing of a crossbow scope rangefinder. As cheap as it is, this one is still working, I haven't run it through a full season yet- The mounting system seems sturdy, time will tell.
Great video! Question: Do think this will work on a 45 degree offset mount? It is a picatinny section that allows backup optics to be mounted to the side of rifle scopes.
I would think the range finding would be the same, even at a 45 degree angle.
Nice job as always Andy !
I love your "He" shed lol.
Are those Badger ordinance rings ? If so they costed more than the range finder probably?
Thanks broski!!!! Those rings are were inexpensive- some type of knock offs I found on Amazon but they are fine for a crossbow. I don't use that range finder- was another absolute game changer- must have gadget that I was obsessed with pre-season, then forgot about(it's part of the fun of this thing we do).
Why did you do the hole story wt the crossbow ready to fire?
Not sure what you mean? I'll re-watch & see.
ITS A PICATINNY RAIL RISER . . I GOT A RAIL ADAPTER SCOPE MOUNT FOR THE FRONT ON MY SCOPE . IF YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE COIL CORD I PUT THAT RUBBER FLEX SEAL ON THE PLUG END OF MINE .
www.amazon.ca/dp/B081VHT26C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_bwCwFbWWX369D
.WHY DID YOU GET THOSE MOUNTS FOR ? I GOT REGULAR MOUNTS PLUS A SCOPE RING PICATINNY ADAPTER MOUNTED ON THE FRONT OF MY SCOPE
The mounts just lifted up the range finder a bit, it was pressing against the scope.
Can you take a picture of the regular way you mounted yours
Did I miss to link as to where to find the scope rings with the rails on top and where to order the riser that clip onto the rail of the ring. I opened the video description box and there is nothing there.
I'll take a look, maybe I forgot to list. Anyway, It's all on Amazon- I'll search my past orders & hopefully I can find. Thanks for catching that.
Hi friend, how do you collide the rangefinder le 032 to use with your rifle scope? Does it not matter to collimate it to 20 meters that has 50 meters?
You can site it in to the point of aim, it will tell you the range, for example point it at a tree- it has iron sights that you can align with your rifle scope point of aim. It will only tell you the range, you will have to know the drop, how low it shoots at 20, 30,.... 50 meters etc.. As long as you make sure the crosshairs on your scope and the iron sights on the range finder are pointing at the same object. I hope I answered your question.
I have the one that can mount to the side of my crossbow pic rail but I am having difficulty trying to get it on target at 20 yards even with a pen laxer taped to the top. Any suggestions it always shows 5-10 yards difference from my hand held range finder
Not 100% sure, but I believe this range finder throws a horizontal beam- perhaps when it's sideways, the beam may be hitting the ground. Likely will take some trial and error to figure out. I'll take mine out after the season and tinker with it- if I figure it out, I will let you know on this post.
underdog outdoors ok but I have the one that you can move the mount to the side leaving the beam in the horizontal position
Which do you prefer the tornado or the thunderhawk?
I find the thunderhawk to be light (in a good way), compact, and well built. The red hot scope is good too but wish it had been illuminated.
I do like the Thunderhawk, easier to maneuver & carry. The Tornado is built like a tank, and is faster, but is so heavy, the speed isn't a factor once your shooting over 300fps, at least in my opinion.
Have you noticed any particular stress points in your mounting after firing the setup for (hopefully, now) a year?
So far, no problems with the mount. I do notice it get more accurate readings in more open areas.
hello if you take it on and off to put in the case does it stay in place or do you have re-sight it in
So far, so good, has been good.
does it mount to a picatinny rail with the current adapter that comes with it new?
Yes, I believe it will
Hello, How loud is the on off button? Those crisp mornings can get loud. Thank you and God bless 🦃🦌
Hello Lloyd Vernon, it makes zero noise- it's a pressure switch on a coiled wire that attaches with Velcro.
i just bought the Redfield Revenge range finding crossbow scope. got it a month ago and have not had a chance to try it out so any input wld help
I'll research the Redfield revenge. I'd say try It under different conditions, fog etc... & see if it's accurate.
Looks like the Redfield scope is awesome, I believe you may still need a separate range finder with you.
How has it held up after 4 years
It still works, accurate, unless it's raining.
@@underdogoutdoors does not work in rain huh? How does it do in fog
All rangefinders are affected by rain and heavy fog, unless there's some I don't know about.@@stevenhicks815
@@underdogoutdoors sweet thanks
@@underdogoutdoors I seen this rangefinder had a fig mode also
Where do you buy what's it called do you have the link

That sounds interesting.
michael rogers A laser aiming device is only accurate where the laser crosses the path of the arrow or bolt.
where did you get the range finder
I bought it on Amazon.
Can I have a link for the Rangefinder or a name and model number....thanks

If you do another video in the future: Please don't use any distracting music. Very annoying.
I think you're correct about the music-- I just re-watched, thanks for the feedback.
