No doubt that Laureate Kannadasan is blessed with charismatic talence and he deserves for the title Immortal Poet. He is not fond of publicity like porukki Kammanatty Payal Karunanidhi who doesn't deserve for the title Kalaingyar. It's mystery how much amount is given by this fellow to give him this title, not award.

Actor Cho always took Ayya Vaali the Legend for his movies as Ayya Vaali composition of songs is 10times better than Kannadasan who always kept an assistance his nephew Panju Arunachalam to help him penned the songs and Kavichakravarthi Ayya Vaali is a One Man Army whose songs are more melodious and mindblowing compared to Kannadasan songs and its proven without a single doubt so no need to boast about a Lyric writer who always needed an assistance to help him write the songs. He need it an assistance to write down what he say. After the age of 22 or 23 he never write on his own since he had a very fast thought process wich lead lead him forget his own poems before he penned them therefor he needed someone to write down while he dictate. Even ayya Vaali have said Kannadasan is better than him also maykamma kalakama song helped him in his life. In Vaali 1000 he has said he followed Kannadasan writing stly in his song.

And in many movies when both the Legend Ayya Vaali & Kannadasan wrote songs for the same movie and it was Ayya Vaali the True Legend garnard more likes than of Kannadasan songs and here I named a few.. in Server Sundram movie ( 1964 ) Kannadasan wrote 4songs wherelse the Kaaviya Kavinyar and Kavichakravarthi wrote just one song only and that became a superduper mega hit and outclassed the rest of the songs written by Kannadasan who was assisted by his nephew Panju Arunachalam and in another movie Kallum Kaniyagum Legend Ayya Vaali songs again overtooked and outclassed Kannadasan song and tne True Legend Ayya Vaali song were.1. Naan Kadavulai Kanden 2. I am not in anyway against Kannadasan but to me I find that Ayya Vaali is a True genuine Legend of all times as he unlike Kannadasan is a One Man Army who singlehandely write 15thousands of song which no other Lyric writer has deed the feat and that is why the Legend Ayya is crowned as Kaaviya and Vaaliba Kavinyar by millions of millions of his fans all over the world and last but not least the Legend Ayya Vaali is undeniably the uncrowned king ( Mudisooda Mannan ) of the Lyric writer. Had Vaali been alive he would not have accepted your argument that his lyrics are better than that of Kannadasan. In the film Thava Puthalvan, Vaali wrote the song "Kingini kingini matha kovil mani osai" and Kannadasan wrote the song "Isai Kettal Puvi asainthadum". "Isai Kettal Puvi asainthadum" song is better song than the song "Kingini kingini matha kovil mani osai". In the film Kulandaiyum Deivamum Vaali wrote four songs and Kannadasan wrote three songs. The song "Koli oru kuditele" written by Kannadsan became super hit n those days. In the film Nenjirukkum Varai, the songs written by Kannadasan viz "Poomudipaal enth poon kulali, Yenge neeyo naaum ange unnodu, Muthukalo Kangal" became super hit. As Kannadasan was not available on the day when the shooting of the song, Kannadasan requested Vaali to write a song for that situation and Vaali has written the song "Nenjirukkum Engalluku" (See the programme Valibha Vaali. Vaali himself admitted). In the following films both Vaali and Kannadsan wrote songs and Kannadasan's songs are much popular. 1. Naddodi (Kadavul Seitha Paavam) ; 2. So many programmes are organised by scholars in appreciation of his contributions. Actor Cho always took Ayya Vaali the Legend for his movies as Ayya Vaali composition of songs is 10times better than Kannadasan who always kept an assistance his nephew Panju Arunachalam to help him penned the songs and Kavichakravarthi Ayya Vaali is a One Man Army whose songs are more melodious and mindblowing compared to Kannadasan songs and its proven without a single doubt so no need to boast about a Lyric writer who always needed an assistance to help him write the songs. He need it an assistance to write down what he say. After the age of 22 or 23 he never write on his own since he had a very fast thought process wich lead lead him forget his own poems before he penned them therefor he needed someone to write down while he dictate. Even ayya Vaali have said Kannadasan is better than him also maykamma kalakama song helped him in his life. In Vaali 1000 he has said he followed Kannadasan writing stly in his song.
@@dilukshan515 whatever it is...the truth is he needed and kept an assistance beside him for most of his songs he penned for the movies and this is a proven record and even Kamalhasan has said in an interview that due to Kannadasan habitual alcoholism he was guided and assisted by his nephew Panju Arunachalam and no other Lyric writer has ever kept any assistance beside him except the one & only Kannadasan. And in many movies when both the Legend Ayya Vaali & Kannadasan wrote songs for the same movie and it was Ayya Vaali the True Legend garnard more likes than of Kannadasan songs and here I named a few.. in Server Sundram movie ( 1964 ) Kannadasan wrote 4songs wherelse the Kaaviya Kavinyar and Kavichakravarthi wrote just one song only and that became a superduper mega hit and outclassed the rest of the songs written by Kannadasan who was assisted by his nephew Panju Arunachalam and in another movie Kallum Kaniyagum Legend Ayya Vaali songs again overtooked and outclassed Kannadasan song and tne True Legend Ayya Vaali song were.1. Kai Viralil Piranthathu..these two songs till today is loved by millions of millions of the Legend Ayya Vaalis fans. in the movie Nenjirukkum Varai 1967 the Legend Vaaliba Kavinyar penned just a single song only and that song was the title song itself and that song too was most melodious and most memorable and philosophal till today compared to the other songs written by Kannadasan. And in the movie Thavaputhalvan ( 1972 ) Ayya the Legend proved it onceagain by penning two mindblowing songs and that were Naan Oru Kathal Sanyaasi and Kingini kini yena varum maatha kovil maniosai..these two songs proved beyond doubt the superiority of the Legend Ayya Vaali and I have more to relate but I end with one more movie & that was Kuzhandaiyum Deivamum ( 1965 ) Ayya the honourable Legend Vaali wrote most of the songs and all the songs he penned became a marvelous, excellent, mindblowing and superduper hits till today and that is the greatness and humbleness of Ayya Vaali who was so humble whenever he was praised by others he politely will say he will take only 25% credit..the rest belongs to the Music Director. the singer and the Director and this humble charcter of Ayya Vaali shows the greatness of him. I am not in anyway against Kannadasan but to me I find that Ayya Vaali is a True genuine Legend of all times as he unlike Kannadasan is a One Man Army who singlehandely write 15thousands of song which no other Lyric writer has deed the feat and that is why the Legend Ayya is crowned as Kaaviya and Vaaliba Kavinyar by millions of millions of his fans all over the world and last but not least the Legend Ayya Vaali is undeniably the uncrowned king ( Mudisooda Mannan ) of the Lyric writer. Had Vaali been alive he would not have accepted your argument that his lyrics are better than that of Kannadasan. In the film Thava Puthalvan, Vaali wrote the song "Kingini kingini matha kovil mani osai" and Kannadasan wrote the song "Isai Kettal Puvi asainthadum". "Isai Kettal Puvi asainthadum" song is better song than the song "Kingini kingini matha kovil mani osai". In the film Kulandaiyum Deivamum Vaali wrote four songs and Kannadasan wrote three songs. The song "Koli oru kuditele" written by Kannadsan became super hit n those days. In the film Nenjirukkum Varai, the songs written by Kannadasan viz "Poomudipaal enth poon kulali, Yenge neeyo naaum ange unnodu, Muthukalo Kangal" became super hit. As Kannadasan was not available on the day when the shooting of the song, Kannadasan requested Vaali to write a song for that situation and Vaali has written the song "Nenjirukkum Engalluku" (See the programme Valibha Vaali. Vaali himself admitted). In the following films both Vaali and Kannadsan wrote songs and Kannadasan's songs are much popular.

Many directors and Tamil scholars admit with out any hesitation that Kannadasn is a better lyrict than Vaali. only very few (like you) are rating Vaali is better than Kannnadasan.in big organization senior officers dictate letters and steno write in shorthand and then type the letter and hence one can not arrive conclusion that Steno are more knowledgeable than the Senior Executive.
@@jagadeesanv6969 I have no prejudice against anyone nor Kannadasan as I am just sharing my views..you may have given the name of the songs and the movie whereby Kannadasan has penned the songs for instance movies like Kuzhandaiyum Deivamum, Nenjirukum Varai, Thavaputhalvan etc etc and for your info the songs all the songs you have mentioned are nowhere compared to the Legend Ayya Vaali's songs. Ayya Vaali's songs were much more melodious, catch, meaningful and mindblowing which till today loved by millions of millions of viewers all around the universe. Let me gave you one very good example before I end my note and that songs were from the movie Kallum Kaniyaagum and the amzing and extra ordinary and mindblowiung songs wete wriiten by the one & only the True Legend Ayya Vaali and why did the Director Shankar & MD Viswanathan requested Ayya Vaali to penned the songs and not Kannadasan ? The reason was if say it had been given to Kannadasan it could neverever be as melodious and meaningful as Ayya's Vaalis song. That was the sole truth! Thank God Ayya Vaali wrote that 2 very touching, heartwrenching and above all most melodious and very soothing for the heart and mind and let me tell you what were the songs till you can hear again & again forever and that songs are..

A big thanks to Late Director Shankar & MD Viswanathan for choosing the chosen one the True Legend Ayya Vaali to penned the songs. They all very well knew that Ayya Vaali is the right and most capable person who can gave that songs and any kind of songs just in a split of seconds. Last but not least Kannadasan is the only Lyrics writer who kept an assistance Padalasiriyar his own nephew Panju Arunachalam beside him for 90% of his movie songs and nobody can deny this as this is the sole truth! Ayya Vaali, Marutakasi. Alangudi Somu, Pulamaipithan, Mayavanathan, Pattukotai, Ka Mu Shariff, Suradha, Thanjai Ramaiyadas, Ku Ma Balasubramaniam, Udumalai Narayanakavi, Mayavanathan, Kavi Rajagopal, Aathmanaathan and Papanasivam..etc etc none of them kept any assitance nor needed one to guide them, to assist them or to help them with their composition of songs except the one & only Kannadasan who was guided, aided and assited by his own nephew Panju Arunachalam. So many programmes are organised by scholars in appreciation of his contributions. Even Vaali accepted that he was preparing to leave Chennai since he was not getting any opportunity to write songs and he stayed back after hearing Kannadasan song “Mayakkama kaakkama”. I am not under estimating Vaali. He do a great poet. But your argument Kannadasan is not a good poet is not acceptable not alone me but many others. Had he not been a good poet he would have got opportunity to write so many songs. According to you Vaali is a great poet and for I consider Kannadasan is a great poet. Similarly in the film Shriya Gandhi why didn’t Vaali was not asked by the director Muktha Srinivasan and MSV for a situation song whereas Kannadasan wrote the popular song “Paramadiva kaluthil yirunthu”. In the film kudiyiruntha Kovil Vaali was not able to write a situation song to the satisfaction of MGR and pulamaibithan wrote the song “ naan tar naan yaar “
