You may want to check the weight of your 4Runner. If it's one of the latest generation then it weighs more than 2 tons. The latest generation is a minimum of 4400 lbs. You may need the next size up for your safety.
2 tons is plenty for a 4Runner. obviously if you have mods like roof rack, bumpers, camping gear etc it’ll be a little more weighted down. but i have a lot of weight stripped off mine and everything goes in a trailer to camp with.
it’s been solid. there’s other options out there but this one is a little more compact, me having a 4runner and not a truck this is perfect for space saving.
