My mother took me to a Motorhead concert when I was 12. My future was inevitable after that.

Kind of like Danzig's last half-dozen-or-so records. He forgot to put music on those and actually _produce_ them, too.
Apparently the theatrical run had music, so something happened in between that and the home release.

Sands was a great actor and from all accounts a great person too. Loved him in Warlock as well as playing Jor El in Smallville during Season 9.

I think the only explanation for glenn danzig, the musician, putting little to no music in a movie is he saw No Country for Old Men and didn't understand what made it good but he knew he liked it.

When the dude he called out stepped up...err...down to him. His bodyguard jumped in to protect him.

@@etincg82 That video is a classic. But to be fair, it was nothing but a lucky shot and the other guy couldn't throw a half-decent punch to save his life. He nearly fell on top of Danzig when he went down, if I remember correctly. He wouldn't last ten seconds against somebody who knows what he's doing. Danzig was just a 50-something, five-foot-nothing, belligerent 'roid monkey who was way to comfortable with getting into somebody's face with his hands down and his chin out.
Rock musicians trying to be "streetfighting badasses" is always hilarious. Danzig talking about his "martial arts training" and "warrior mindset" is even better. He'll never live down that he got decked by a fat dumpy schlub who almost knocked himself over in the process.
Danzig is basically a walking one-man New Jersey-community-theater production of "Spinal Tap", anyway. He's like the Gillberg to Pete Steele's Goldberg.

@@JasonBrant It got pretty wild. It was at Irvine Meadows and at one point someone lit a bunch of the seats on fire and the patrons danced around the impromptu bonfire like primitive savages. Pretty good time.

Apparently, there was a full soundtrack during the premiere, but something happened when they distributed the movie. Red Letter Media had the same thing where there was very little, to no sound.
Allegedly there's a dispute over the music rights.

A good example of Glenn Danzig not understanding movies at all is he apparently was asked to audition for the role of Wolverine, declined it and said he's glad he did because the movie sucked and Hugh Jackman's performance in it was gay.

Danzig seems like the sort of guy who would be easy to work with for about an hour. After that, he'd become an insufferable douchebag. Hate on Rob Zombie if you will, but he doesn't strike me as someone who would suffer that kind of bullshit very long on a set.

Cover art was done by Simon Bisley, a legendary brit comic artist who was big in the 90s. He knows Glenn from when he did a few comics for the original Verotika run. Imho he's fallen off a bit, but not as hard as Glenn lmao.

Danzig is the only man on the planet that would show up to your house, the house you are trying to sell because of demon possession, and demand that you make the demons that make the blood spray out of the walls, reverse travel up from floor to ceiling because it's consider too gauche for his taste with the standard ceiling to floor blood spray river and yes he will walk out on this real estate closing if his concerns are not addressed immediately.

My sentiments exactly! And I don’t think he’s a decent director either tbh. The Deadpool 1 director is currently completely rewriting and reshooting his film adaptation of Borderlands that was meant to release 2 years ago!
