- Hi everyone!
I’ve been busy with a fun project that involves customizing G3 Monster High Venus McFlytrap’s accessories!
Venus is the talk of the town as far as Monster High goes and I wanted to spend some time spotlighting her accessories by customizing them with paint details, glitter here and there, and some extra fun accessories like chains and safety pins.
The design aesthetic for Venus is PEAK and I think she is the best G3 doll we’ve gotten thus far.
This video was so a blast to make and it makes me want to customize allllll of the core dolls now which is a slippery slope for me for sure.

Spppptttt. I made the thumbnail and was like ohhh ok this looks good. Seeing it on CZcams now, Venus looks like she is wearing a Santa hat. I wanted to just add this special note because I’m a bit gobsmacked but I’m deciding to leave it as is 🫠
I love how the hair accessory kind of blends into her hair, it makes it look like the fly traps and flowers are just sitting in there. Also, Chewlian is best pet! 💚

U got her looking so fierce, and stand out more here I'll share a picture of mine, with the way I did mine very soon so keep them eyes out for it.
Faboolous! G3 Mattel is certainty skimping on, as well as cutting all the corners! I feel they should be called "Barbie Extra Monsters", not Monster High.
I added some piercings and painted my Venus's boots.. I NEED to get those chrome pens though!! It looks so much better than the silver paint I used

I’ve been dying to get my hands on her for this same reason, I love customizing my dolls and she has so many fun accessories that are just begging for detail!
I love the idea of using a paint marker to chrome her accessories!
If you ever want to do it again in the future, youll have a better effect of the chrome if you paint the item black first, for some reason metalics always look a lot better over a black or dark base compared to a lighter colour base

Those aren't earrings in Chewlian's ears, they are flytrap's teeth/spikes.
And I think Chewlian just evovled into a cat, so they won't get stuck in the flower pot
How'd you add the earrings on the pet?
They are part of Chewlian’s mold and I painted them silver to bring out the detail!

Adding the scrunchie made it look less punk. Plus it doesn't go with her vibe, I'd also not recommend adding chains in her hair. It makes the doll look tacky. Just saying 🤷🏻♀️
But i do like that accessories were painted, it looks so much better. I don't understand why companies don't take the time to paint accessories on dolls.
I definitely want to buy Venus but it will be many months before i do. I can't never find over hyped dolls in stores and i usually don't find popular dolls until the hype has died down and THEN I'll usually find them. 😜
Venus shines on her own. You shouldn't mess with her. I hate what u did. So unnecessary. Ugh
I mean, i can understand that your emotions are very valid, it wasnt really necessary to be mean about it yno, if you have or get venus, you dont need to do any of this, you can keep it exactly the way you want it

@@marilynmcfall7637 hardly disfiguring, all they did was paint some accessories, there are some people burning g3 dolls to a crisp so putting some glitter and paint on some accessories isnt really that bad
