Because the president isn't trying to make it look like he's nepotistic by appointing his family to positions of power. Like the South African leader. He settled for the next best thing by assigning close friends into power. That's why his daughter said her only job was going to be a daughter but now she's working in the white house without pay again to make it look like that's not what he's doing. Basically this entire presidency is smoke and mirrors.

Only he can bring wisdom to this sad world. In his wisdom, he has admitted that one of the ways the FBI and other law enforcement could know what they know about him and his people, is if they were recording or had surveillance on him and his people. 'How else could they possibly have all these specific facts and details,' wise Trump states.
Some Trump supporters surely were nodding along with that, thinking that these are good things. But the reality is, Trump has admitted that what the FBI has on him and his people is not fake news. If the only explanation he can think of is direct wiretapping of him and his people, then he's saying 'How do they know THIS? How do they know THAT? How did they get this information?' If the only explanation his small mind can think of is wiretapping, then that is him screaming at the top of his lungs that him and his team are doing these activities and he has to have been wiretapped if they have evidence of it.
TLDR; Trump has unwittingly confessed that him and his people are doing the activities that keep being reported on in the news. And he's too dumb to realize it.
