4:36 I was today years old when I learnt that you could dodge blue shells with shrooms in mid air
So hyped to see nick live in studio with the face cam!!!
You know there was a glitch where all 4 players(or 2 in your case) could choose the same character.
I don't precisely remember how it was done but it was something like:
1) Player 1 selects the character then deselects
2) Player 2 selects the character then deselects
3) You leave to the menu before the character select then enter the character select menu again, both players box should be on the character they selected and you can both choose the character.
Side note: When picking vehicles, it can have some weird but funny visual glitches.

It's been too long since Troy and Nick were able to record together in person. They're very electrifying as a duo in-person.
Not watched the whole video yet so I'm not sure if this is mentioned, but there's a very easy glitch to do if you both wanted to be funky kong, something along the lines of exiting back a menu then having the other person select funky kong
IIRC they take turns picking the same character then go back to the previous menu, then the game puts them on the same one
They are so in sync with each other this is awesome!

The winner is the one who gets the least amount of points.
You will drive backwards (on normal tracks), basically doing the bagger strats in competitive MKW.
It will be really fun because you would get all the broken items of last places (golden, star ,shock), but also try avoid the bill because it carries you forward.
There will be someone who drives forward so the race will end 30 seconds after he finishes.
You absolute goal is to finish each gp with zero points.

Nice Troy I liked that, you and Nick are playing the most super complicated impossible CPUs on 2 players split screen, and all they get is stars, triple red shells, mushrooms, bullet bills, especially lightnings, this custom game mode turns completely into world's, chaotic, difficult challenge, competition, it may legit be frustrating, raging, and cause aggravations, be sure to look out what item they'll get, I wonder who created it, anyway have fun.

I love how this is literally just the same as Super Mario Kart's CPU mechanics (minus the rubberbanding I assume) but with MKWii's bikes and gameplay/characters; can't imagine how this would feel like for y'all with the way drifting works in SMK, especially with how great the drifting feels in Wii lol
