You could spray pepper spray in Henry Rollins' face and he'd be like "Yeah, this is really painful. Very intense."
Hahahaha
Saying "spray pepper spray" is redundant. Just say pepper spray without the spray in front.
@@tm0675 He's not wrong. You don't have to consider "pepper spray" a verb and can use the verb "spray" before the noun "pepper spray" if you'd like. Your need to correct something so insignificant instead of being amused by the great joke makes me want to spray mace in your face.
@@tm0675 S P R A Y P E P P E R
go read Get In The Van, getting pepper sprayed was any given weeknight for him when he road dog'd it with Black Flag in the 1980s. guy has gone through some real shit.
Henry Rollins is the calmest and most composed embodiment of visceral rage this world might ever know
No.
Look at HR from the Bad Brains now, or Doyle from the Misfits. They are calm.
that's military school training. military brats and those forced/willingly enrolled in military institutes, we are taught alike in that manner. we gots good pokerfaces
@@aseriesoftriangleswecalltr6065 nah
He's truly like a lion at a zoo, letting meat puppets sit and point while he dreams of bloodshed
If he told me his best friend was the dormant super volcano in Yellowstone I'd absolutely believe him 🤷♂️
Henry: I never eat hot stuff.
Also Henry: Clears the board and doesn't even take a drink, cough, or pass a question, and ends with a smile.
He coughed multiple times
@@mastod0n1 I think it was more of him clearing his throat. Very mild coughs at most. lol
That is because Sean went light on him for fear of getting knocked out!!!!
No rock person is gonna top that. Possibly Martians and nobody else.
he coughed d many times, including the first wing, kyle. take care.
I have never seen Henry happy in an interview, and here he is smiling and laughing like a little kid. Sean is amazing, this went really well!
Weird, I've seen many recent interviews of him smiling and being pleasant. I think people just assume by his rocker days of his youth and that furrow brow of his and immediately thinks "angry". Sure he has that nickname "angriest man in rock" but he's really calm cool and collected, especially in interviews of the past 10 years.
@@girlanonymous Yeah, really. I rarely see him not smiling and being pleasant. To be fair, though, I've been a fan of his spoken word performances for a long time, which is basically just stand up storytelling. He's always been a pretty charming guy.
Just saw an Australian interview that he enjoyed. Saw others before that.
He only got there because of narduaur
His interview with Joey Diaz was awesome too.
My favorite Henry quote (on playing shows for sparse crowds):
"It doesn't matter how many people are there. I don't care if there are only two people out there. Those two people came out to see you, and it's not their fault nobody else showed up. You go out there and you give those two people the best fucking show of their lives."
That's actually a Chuck Dukowski quote, the original bassist from Black Flag. He said that to Henry early on when he joined the band and there was sparse attendance at a gig. Henry was apparently a little bummed by the lack of people there and wasn't fully into it. The Duke grabbed him and said that quote with the conviction Dukowski was known for, especially back then, which stuck with Rollins thereafter. And rightly so, it's a kick ass quote!
@@angryeel2864 that quote still fuels me today
@@gumborambo4540 Same here.
No, that's actually a Kanye west quote guys he's a genius
@@ssgssbeet4133 You are 100% incorrect with that comment.
none of those sauces hit him nearly as hard as that Kanye West quote.
MIKEY YEDA :D
I love Uncle Rollins but it was disappointing that he seemed more triggered by the name Kanye West than the actual quote itself
Oh, that did test his boundaries for saying something unkind
Kriskazam
Well Kanye behaves like a narcissistic unkind douche bag lunatic and his quotes reflect that. What did you expect? Praising yourself in public is the clear indicator of low IQ and/or Antisocial personality disorder. Google it you will see what I mean
Fuck kanye west hes a bitch!
Just saw Henry speak last night 6 years after this interview and the dude is 62 and spoke intensely for 2+ hours without even stopping to take a sip of water. Legend.
My voice is tired while typing in my 40's, what a freak. Rollins saying, Jesus Christ
a life without drugs my dude...
Where did you see him? I saw him two years ago didn’t know he’s still touring
Beverly, MA a few months ago@@bigtrip6344
I was bummed I missed that show in town I live in
I've seen Henry Rollins eviscerate interviewers for being unprepared or unprofessional but I think it's very clear that Sean is well prepared, so Henry relaxed a bit. I'm not 100% sure if that's the reason why, but it was cool to see a fun, goofier side of him
His questions were very interesting! He was very well prepared/knowledge/seamless and it made for an amazing interview
Sean Evans is well known to his good interview questions.
also dopamine helps
This is obviously different from some random hack interviewing him after a show or something of the sort.
Henry has lightened up over the years. He's extremely intelligent.
"Can he handle the wings of death?"
Man literally too angry to die.
"Literally"
Too angry to die perfectly explains him
I think if doom guy was real, he'd be Henry Rollins.

it seems like age has made henry a happier person
bitch ,you're dead I don't think happier. Just less mad and more content/understanding lol
MidnightMaverick which i think would make anyone a happier person.
Agreed, this is probably the best episode yet.
bitch ,you're dead Let's say he is a wise person
Happier is certainly meant to be a relative term.

Agreed!!!
Adam Devine outshone everyone else
I was going to put my own similar comment, but yours was so perfect that I don't need to say a thing.
Agreed. Hank is such an enigma but such an open book. Fascinating guy.
"Life is cubicles, buses, taxes, and death. Lets do something else..." My new favorite quote
After looking up the word "pithy" I would say that line definitely fits the bill!
easy to say as one successful punk rocker out of millions of failed ones from the 80s and 90s that are working desk jobs right now to make ends meet. eventually you gotta grow up and carry your load unless you get lucky
@@zhongxina2793 You clearly have no idea who Henry Rollins is.
Made me weep
@@zhongxina2793 I think he was saying that artists job was to help us with that. Life is cubicles and taxes and whatnot, let's listen to some Lady Gaga and escape from that once in a while.
Seeing Henry all happy and not angry is just wild to me
Age Really Chilled Him Out lol
What I love about Henry is he just seems like a smart, well-read person who could be anything, a life-coach, a CEO, a rockstar, whatever his passions, or angry, led him to. That's what makes him so captivating and I think why he's been so successful.
but... he actually is all of that.
When i saw the thumbnail, i though "oooohhh, there is going to be hell on this show" but, fuck me, i was completely surprised by Henry, awesome, awesome guest, such a humble, knowledgeable and genuine guy, and he cleaned the board without being a hot wings guy and WITHOUT DRINKING ANYTHING WHATSOEVER! Easily one of the top guests, i could hear him talk for two more hours.
listen to him on the Joe Rogan podcast, its about ~2hrs40mins
Thanks, i will check it out.
Rollins is a great dude. His spoken word events are always sold out, and he's an endless source of knowledge and experience.
Hugo Fernandes I agree!!
Listen to him and his music choices every Sunday: www.kcrw.com/music/shows/henry-rollins
This is one of the few interviews Rollins has done where he doesn't think the interviewer is an idiot. Big ups to Sean!!!
He asked great questions!
He really did. I came for Rollins because I love old man Rollins but stayed for the varied and interesting questions. Definitely subscribing.
The one thing I've heard many guests say is"Wow that's a really good question." Sean has gotten better and better at this.
He didn't have to deal with an interviewer who was out of his depth. Sean tends to ask questions that are meant to help you relate to the interviewee, not to test their knowledge or depth in a given topic.
Absolutely. To simply be a person in front of Rollins whom he doesn't want to eviscerate is an achievement in itself and Sean, of course, pulled it off with aplomb.
He is so genuine. Seeing Henry live was the best you can really feel how much he cares about us and how amused he is by life it’s very inspiring
..when LIVE! ..ol' days or now?
@@dallesamllhals9161 i saw his live speaking show couple years back.
I met him after a show on a speaking tour. I wouldn’t exactly call him friendly, but he is absolutely genuine in that who he is on stage is who he is in a parking lot by his tour bus at 1am. No affectations or stage persona or whatever
@@90cta395I met him after a show too and he was nice enough. He's surprisingly pretty quiet hahaha. Very sweaty too.
Imagine watching Henry Rollins becoming a household name, meanwhile your dad tells you stories of when Black Flag came to town when he was working as a doorman/bouncer/crowd control at the 688 in Atlanta and Henry Rollins with long flowing hair in tiny basketball shorts told my dad “if anyone fucks with Kiera (Black Flag’s bassist at the time), YOU handle em. If anyone fucks with me, I’LL HANDLE EM”
Later edit: And I’ve read several of Henry’s interviews dating back to his first interviews with fanzines back in the early 80s and he’s really engaging in down to earth if the questions are interesting but incredibly dismissive if the questions are stupid and ignorant
He certainly doesn’t seem the type to suffer fools gladly. 😂
Since Kira was touring with them, that must have been 1984 or 1985, right?
If this was Henry Rollins 20 years ago this wouldn’t have gone as smooth lol
Not in the slightest. I remember an interview with Nard something and it was just.... ouch.
More like 30 years, but good point.
@@coreyinprogress Damn, I need to remember it's like that now
Sean is a great interviewer, but he definitely got the “chilled out” Henry
Hello 👋 I thought I would see you here
Doesn't like or eat spicy food often, yet he eats every last wing without any liquids and is articulate the whole time with very little drama.
Absolute SAVAGE.
Well we are taking about a man that his only addiction is his music
Dialectical Monist I didn’t know he didnt drink anything till you pointed it out
this man knows pain...
Yeah, you can tell he's got a high level of pain tolerance
a man not a bitch like your squad, BITCH
When Henry visited Mexico for the first time, me and a group of 10 friends, all crust punks, ran in excitement when we saw him arriving at the back of the venue, he was alone, no security and he thought we were gonna jump on him, when he saw that was not the case he was a bit relieved and agreed to take pictures with us and sign autographs lol
i admire how casually a true punk can say "yeah, this hurts" and take it in stride
Pain turns Henry Rollins into a happy jovial guy, who knew.
have you ever listened to “three nights” from the my war album from black flag?
He is clearly a masochist
He's _really_ mellowed with age. I didn't care for him for most of my life (especially the spoken word "angry white dude rants about his opinions" stuff). So for nearly 40yrs, I didn't like Rollins.
BUT THEN: I recently saw a clip of a show he did in Portland (Keep Talking, Pal) and I was FLOORED. Rollins was *happy* and *funny.* I ended up buying the show... It's hilarious.
I'm sure he still has his moments, but I love Rollins now, and I never thought I'd say that.
It's home
I can relate Henry ,I can really relate.Take care y'all.
This is the show in summation:
Henry: "I don't eat hot food. I can't handle it"
*proceeds to handle the wings better than anyone*
Quintessential Punk!
The only person I've seen keep their composure as well is Alton Brown. Who I think Henry would consider very "punk rock".
The dude has probably been hit in the face with with enough pepper spray for a lifetime, why would some hot wings take him down?
He didn’t touch his drink, either.
Knowing Henry, he probably appreciated the free food😆
I love how Henry listens. He’s also so smart, funny and articulate. One of my favorite episodes, with one of my favorite people.
you know what smart, funny and articulate people have in common? they listen.
"I'm on wing one I'm kind of wanting to go home."
That's good ol' antisocial Henry. I relate to the man so much.
so this is how Henry Rollins reacts to pain, he becomes cheery talkative and crazily enthusiastic
MetalizedButt it could also happen to other people who indulge in hot sauce, it raises your endorphins levels and gives that feel good effect
Makes sense
It helps take your mind off pain. When I got pretty much all of my back tattooed it fucking SUCKED but talking about anything helps deal.
Then he must've had a bucketful of painful wings before his spoken word show in Melbourne (on CZcams) where he spoke nonstop for THREE hours. And the crowd loved it.

Lazy Ryu Free food and a different outlook on pain. Henry is good people.
He will never not finish free food.
Modest dude. Love Henry Rollins
I met Henry last year at one of his photography shows. I expected him to be super intimidating and he was so kind and took his time with everyone that wanted to speak with him. He is a real class act.
Wouldn't surprise me if he was sitting on a good size nest egg, and he just donates it to charity.
I met him about 27 years ago. He was exceedingly nice and gracious.
@@joelab9222 That's around the time I first met him. A friend in Atlanta took me to a "spoken word thing". But, it was just a group of people on a front porch in Athens, GA. listening to Henry banter on about this, that and the other. And in between his planned word constructs, he was just conversational. He would just randomly ask someone a personal question and then want to know more and more about them. My daughter had just been born(so that puts it at 28 years ago) and we ended up discussing her and he dove deep in asking the 20-year-old me how I was handling it, among other things. It was like a therapy session with a really intense and really nice therapist. About 8 years later, I ran into him at an event in Dallas, TX, and as soon as we made eye contact, I saw that light go on and he immediately asked how my daughter was, and that she must be around 8. We chatted for a few minutes and it was like catching up with an old friend.
Lucky you. No such luck with my encounters.
I also met him after one of the spoken word “photography” shows and he hung around, took pictures and signed stuff, not to mention conversing with everyone. Very humble, gracious guy !!!
Him talking about Iran in the way he did was pretty brilliant. Loved it.
Henry Rollins is the chicken soup for the soul of punk rock. Love him.
Most hardcore guest to date, no liquids, stated right off the bat he doesn't do hot foods. Ate every bite, not just a tiny nibble, but scarfed that sucker like it was his last meal.

You can find the old Dinner for Five episode with him in it on CZcams. S04E04. Everything that came out of his mouth was really interesting and relaxed.
lebasson hah same here. I feel his image as a punk rocker can give off this kind of "fuck you" vibe but he was such a cool dude. I'd love to buy him a beer and chat the night away man
You can find videos on YT in his younger years just being a total prick. Rollins has aged quite well as far as his temperament goes.
Agreed. Compared to when he was younger, he seems much happier now. He still has his rage and anger, but he uses is it to fuel him. When he was younger he did that too, but I think it kind of consumed him before. Like someone said in the comments here his temperament has changed since he's aged. He's my biggest role model for sure. He's the real deal. Such a cool dude. I GET NOTHING!!!!
Holy shit dude, this interview actually kind of just put his method of dealing with the daily motions via getting a little mad at it all. That's incredibly useful for people who have a lot of pent up rage, like a small constant vent.
HENRY IS A TRIP. LOVE THAT GUY!

@@268snake Tell us what you really think. Lol.
Lol it's cause he's a Punk Rock Hyena. The stand up he did for this is not happening was hilarious. He recounts his youth as a rebellious punk rocker in Black Flag. "and she starts driving really fast. I go like "why are you was driving so fast? There's all these people up there crossing the street." She goes like " You Pussies in Black Flag always talk about the end of the world and destruction! THE DESTRUCTION STARTS NOW! WE'RE GOING TO KILL ALL THESE FUCKING PEOPLE!" @ROCCO Pazzo Well what do you expect he is a punk? Who would you have him vote for? To say anyone with slightly left of center is sub human is a little retarded. Would Hillary have sucked? You bet your ass, but to say Trump is so much better would be to ignore reality. The sound park episode about a Shit Sandwich and a Giant Douche was practically prophetic.

His analogy about not losing the ambient rage but recognizing he should sharpen his skills- the scalpel versus hacking the forest bit- is amazing.
Like, that's a piece of life advice everyone could use- especially since it comes from this "battle hardened" hardcore pioneer who has also fit into other aspects of popular culture without sacrificing his character or sense of self.
Not sure many people caught that, but you did. I believe most people tend to hack away on their paths because pride gets in the way. Tearing down those personal barriers allows the scalpel to move in precision, but as Henry suggests keeping the intensity or rage. NICE!!!

Henry Rollins is a character I’ve loved for a very long time. The only way I can describe it is that I feel he’s as genuine as any celebrity I’ve seen. Great episode.
I've seen Henry live twice. (Spoken word.) The first time, I was maybe 17 in 1997. The cost of admission was 2 cans of food (or money) that would be donated to a local homeless shelter. Tulsa, OK. Who else does that? Amazing dude.
Henry Rollins? This channel is now dipping into Rock history? Fuck yeah. I love contemporary artists but so happy to see an icon of musical history (who is also still 100% relevant) on here.

Nigel MacQuillan got you covered dude, garage punk band member here ✌️
His remarks on Iran really hits closer to home these days and I really appreciate his perspective... Nobody wants war.
Unfortunately too many do. Especially those who ate to old or too rich or too powerful to risk anything in the war. Other people who will die usually don't want war.
He talks about that in his spoken word specials (many you can see on CZcams) where he'll go to a country people warn him against, roam around the city unguarded, stick out his hand and meet people. The interview was great because Sean came prepared.
@zunka ducks The Islamic Republic of Iran is not the citizenry of Tehran, which is who he was talking about. The actual people on the street are not their government, just like the people on the street here in the US are not our government. The man went to Tehran and spoke to actual people face to face, and he was commenting about that experience. I eagerly look forward to reading your account of your visit to Tehran and your face to face conversations with the people there. It sounds like your world travels and your conversations with Iranian citizenry gave you a different impression.
That is why I came back here. I needed some sane reasoning in this insane world.

@@joemcbee That just seems very judgmental of you. There's no rational reason to think that people who swear are untrustworthy.
He's not exactly a "punk rocker" anymore, you can clearly tell that he's either somewhat or mostly moved on from that specific point of his life.
@@pokesprite266 I never said people who swear are untrustrworthy. Nice try making that implication though . I don't believe just because a person won't/can't control their bad language, they are any more trustworthy than a person who thinks before they speak.

must have a warning against him... that was the perfect time to rip on Dj Khaled.
Khaled kept talking about fuckboys and not losing ever in his life, but not only did he lose during that episode, he was the biggest fuckboy of all.
Finished the wings, didn’t have so much as a sip of water. Henry Rollins is so hardcore the sauces barely tickle him. Also, extremely thoughtful, well-spoken and humble man. Henry Rollins would be one of the coolest people to know and, at the same time, also one of the friends who are so intense you have to escape from them for a while.
He seems so actually grateful for the wings as like, a meal. He really is amazingly cheap, but its humble and nice.

One of the best interviews. Love Henry!
I love my Henry! Such a cool dude. He's so fun to listen to. Just a calm cool dude, who let's his rage out through his music. We all need an outlet.
*"Yeah, this hurts."* Absolutely no emotion is shown.
It's funny that the 250 dollar designer black flag t shirt got brought up because when I heard about that last year I emailed Henry Rollins about it and his response was "A Black Flag shirt being sold for a dollar or 250 has nothing to do with me. I don't own the name, the logo or call the shots. Call Greg Ginn. If he is able to respond from his cloud of marijuana smoke, let me know what he says, on the other hand, don't bother."
I've emailed Henry twice over the past 20 years. Always got a heartfelt response. Seen him many times live and never been disappointed. Dude is a walking advertisement for hard work and hustle.
Patrick P good ol weird al
whats his email?
Liam Huggins take a pic of the email and post a link. I'm guessing you are lying and if not that is rad.
Well I don't really know how to take a pic and link a picture of the email nor do I really feel obliged or care to do so since I don't feel as I need to do so. Henry Rollins is very well known to be responsive to fan emails, and really doesn't try to hide it, I mean here try it for yourself two1361@aol.com. I will send the whole email in text on here since it was really funny and in true Rollins fashion.
"Liam. Thank you for your letter. I had a great time doing the Calvin Klein shoot day, all 75 minutes of it. I have been using that brand since I was in Black Flag. Flag are a bunch of old men who have to ply their past to pay the rent. They are taking battle hymns and turning them into entertainment. That to me is the ultimate sell out. Calvin Klein wants me to be in some ads, I have been in their ads since 1993 I think. What, I can't do things because I was in a band once? Fuck that. I do whatever comes my way that seems interesting.
A Black Flag shirt being sold for a dollar or 250 has nothing to do with me. I don't own the name, the logo or call the shots. Call Greg Ginn. If he is able to respond from his cloud of marijuana smoke, let me know what he says, on the other hand, don't bother.
Life is short. I ride the big waves on the Sea of Consequence. Calvin Klein ad at 55 years of age? Absolutely. Hopefully they run all the pictures extra large and very, very brightly lit. It's all vengeance and defiance to me and I am not interested in being quiet or tasteful. I hope that answered your questions. Henry Rollins"
I'm never disappointed with a Henry Rollins interview. He has some of the most interesting, thoughtful, genuine, intelligent and enjoyable talks I've ever heard from a celeb.
Seans fantastic questions with Henrys outstanding answers have made this one by far my favourite!!!
Henry just came here to get a free meal.
This! Absolutely this. He's talked about his love for free food on many occasions. I'm surprised he didn't reach across the table and start eating Sean's wings too.
@lilnetty2 Oh yeah, this hurts!
Henry takes another bite and cleans the wing.
@@ConstantlyDamaged he's from the hardcore punk scene they don't play around when it comes to mental toughness and discipline
That's exactly why he's there
"I don't care how hot this fucking wing is. I'm in it for the free food."
Hahhaha his face was priceless when he heard that Kanye quote
Agreed. There's just nothing to say anymore about that Kanye douchebag. Same as with trump. Everything true and vile has been said.
Wow. Henry being the super genuine and a SAUCE BOSS at the same time... I shouldn't be surprised. This man is hard as nails. 🤘
I love Henry Rollins. It isn't every day you run across this kind of honesty and see this much thought put into a life well lived.
Another tragically underrated Hot Ones episode. I wasn't a huge Rollins fan growing up, never disliked him but wasn't a particular fan either, however I am a fan now. He comes across as quite smart and articulate! What a silver fox! I hope he has another 50+ years in him.
Yup, same here. What changed my mind about Henry was his stand-up special "Keep Talking, Pal." I always had respect for him, but found his earlier work/ talks/energy to be... exhausting, for many reasons I won't go into here as I may have already in earlier comments. Currently, I'm a HUGE Rollins fan.
And I don't mean to objectify the guy but... He's aged well and definitely a "silver fox" IMHO, although a lot of my attraction towards him is based on his personality. If he looked like he does now and still behaved the way he did 30 years ago? I wouldn't find him attractive at all.
I'm not saying you're objectifying him though! I could be wrong, but it sounds like we're mostly on the same page as far as what makes him attractive... it's what's inside as much as the outside.
Underrated how...?
My man Sean with those Banger Questions, best host ever 👌👍
He really has some good questions
Seems like every interview the guest has to stop and think " wow, that was actually a well researched and thought out question?!" Definitely a rare thing these days...
I watched an interview the other day where Henry said that punk rock fans are the most elitist people he'd ever encountered, if you don't fit the image or sound how they expect you to sound then you aren't part of there group, I really heard that and have felt it with a majority of niche music fandoms, just form talking too and sharing my experiences, there seems to be a culture that gatekeeps there own circle to keep themselves pure and sanctified from the true experience of the outside world, i.e. anything that is not 'metal/punk', and I believe that Henry Rollins exhibits this in so many ways, that really speaks to me, punk rock is being educated about your environment and constantly saying 'no, I can do this!' Forever may he live, challenging culture and society at large to be better for the sake of humanity. God Bless you Henry!
Best show so far, and probably will be always. Amazing man, mind, and mindset.
Holy shit I remember somebody asked for Rollins in the comments a couple of eps ago and someone else replied with " never gonna happen " Well I guess the jokes on that guy now 😂😂😂
Theshowdown 93 aye lmao
Chris Murphy - the guy who the joke is now on
I was thinking the same thing. I believe it was last week's episode where I read that in the comments.
Theshowdown 93 I was that guy...someone with nick mcmillah was saying on every clip bring henry to the show and by knowing this guy work I said he is too cool even for this show. Joke is on me. But who knows maybe that help that he came...... Give me at least that so I dont feel totally dumb... Cheers!
God damnit it warms my heart to see that old punk rock hero of mine just destroy them wings.
And Sean Evans, man he just keeps getting better and better, this was actually one of the most interesting Rollins interview ever, well done!
Handfart McPantypoop fuck yeah dude this was legendary!
the dude didnt even flinch!! that was bad ass!
100%
see henry rollins' appearance on joe rogan's podcast. you might find it even more interesting
I've seen him before on JRE and enjoyed the podcast, but found him incredibly more interesting in this video. This hot sauce shit has been genius.
Henry. Absolute epic man.
I could listen to this dude's take on, well, anything, forever.
Fantastic 🤘🙌
Dude is an absolute nutcase.
I am not surprised he handled the wings this well. A true badass inside and out. Lol.
Henry Rollins is the man.
Go BIG or go home
Best guest so far, IMHO.
Rollins is the man, but I have to give it to Eric Andre.
Henry Rollins yelling about frozen yogurt on The Eric Andre Show was pretty great, too
chris logan Neil Degrasse Tyson?
Henry OWNED them Wings. Like a Boss. IMPRESSIVE
I found him long ago within music and appreciated his work. Every year after that appreciation has only grown. What a phenomenally interesting and valuable humanbeing to share the world with. :)
LOTS OF LOVE FROM TEHRAN, I WATCH THIS SHOW EVERY WEEK WITH MY FAMILY
Awesome!!!! :-D
+
I was happy when I saw Rollins mention that, it's very true in the modern world where two cultures are in a cultural cold war, we perceive the opposite sides as different or even evil when in reality the sides are two happy groups separation by a massive wall of false information and mis-representation, like a wall with a painting of a big angry monster when behind it is a happy family, everyone I've met who's gone to Iran has had nothing but nice things to say and seems almost blown away by how pleasant the people were against their expectations from their society
Yeah this was a deep statement on why you should travel and learn about what's outside of your personal bubble. Get educated and experience life
100% Travel is the biggest educator you can have, because you are pioneering your own knowledge, no matter how much news, how many documentaries and however many videos you watch, you will never truly understand what a place is like, what it feels like and everything else!
Sean Evans may be one of the best interviewers of his generation. Seriously, every guest says that Sean asks great questions.
Haha yeah, "WOW! what a great question" is what the show should have been called
I think he doesn't prepare the questions, his team does. He just asks them.
@@julianblake8385 It's Sean and some guy named Chris that do the research and come up with questions.
Yeah he’s one of the better interviewers for sure. You should check out nardwuar too.
part of why this series is so popular
Only person who's enjoyed da bomb and able to answer the questions with composure and unphaised.
Rollins is one of the best celebs out there. Politics aside, he's just a good dude.
This was by FAR one of my favorite episodes. Proof positive that you can be punk rock, badass, hardcore, and STILL be intelligent and thoughtful. Did anyone else notice that Henry never swore once?
Bryan Lloyd even when they were eating the dirty dicks hot sauce!! "I'll let you say it." hahaha
