    What are your favorite features of the new Arc Browser and do you plan to use it? At this time Arc for Windows is lagging behind the macOS version in features. Those features should be coming soon... Thanks for watching :)

      Will have to give it a try, but not a fan of Chromium-based browsers. I've been using a browser called Floorp for the last few months, have you heard of it?

    I'm a Brave loyalist, but I do love to see what other browsers have to offer. This one looks simple and fun

    This is awesome. I first saw vertical tab stacking in Vivaldi and found it quite compelling. Now Safari has tab groups, which are similar to the Spaces in Arc, but Safari lacks much of the Chromium-based behaviour.

      Isn't what Google Chrome already does so much so that people's got used with it that become hush hush?! So why is that that you're so surprised about Arc browser?!

      @@vla2uv It's not like Google Chrome forces you to use an account to use the browser. With Arc they force you to use and create an account from them to even use the browser at all.

    Compared to vivaldi and brave does it have an equivalent amount of features?
    Vivaldi has tons of features but is a little heavy
    Also, will ublock origin on yt work on it or not?

      As Brett pointed out in his video, the Google Chrome extensions can also be used in the Arc browser.

      @@soulaesthete8563 yes, but with CZcams's war on adblockers it was only working on Firefox and brave for a while in between, haven't checked since

    I've been using the Windows version for a couple months and it quickly became my default browser. I do like it a lot, and it's not even at feature parity with the Mac version yet.

    I always learn something from your videos.
    I like a Chrome extension called Speed Dial 2. I can enter the URL of my favorite sites, and they appear as icons in an array as a home screen. I can add, rearrange and remove them easily.
    Does Arc have anything like that? For that matter, does Brave, Opera or Vivaldi have anything like that?

      Google Chrome extensions can used in the Arc browser so you should be able to use your preferred extension.

    I been loving Arc browser in windows but still feels like a Beta, there is a lot of missing features from his version on MacOS, customization could be a bit better, i would like the URL to be in the same spot as his MacOS version (above your favorites) and they definitely need to improve the performance, specially when you open it when it's fully closed, microsoft edge opens like in less than a second, while Arc can take up to 5 seconds or more

    _sigh_ I miss the days when you could just start your computer and use the Internet. Now everyone requires you to create usernames and password in a world of regular data breaches where personal data and usernames/passwords are stolen daily and companies tell ou to change your password as a precaution.

      Looks like Arc browser would run in ArcH linux. Linux is best from safety point of concern.

    I've had Arc for a few months, and I use it when I remember. I find that Chrome extensions don't always work with it, which is a time-consuming nuisance, but general browsing is just fine. And it's not Microsoft. Or Google.

    Can you please share something about the differences b/w Vivaldi & Arc
    I have been using Vivaldi for the past year & it is fast, clean, as minimal as you want && It has workspaces which is similar to what arc has, sure there are differences & that's what I want to know

    Prefer Brave, but giving Arc a try. I do like how it displays mail clients. It may be a fine companion browser.

    What kind of privacy features does it have? Is it anything like thorium or firefox?

      this browser is more focused on ui like concept browser like opera neon for privacy stick to firefox forks or brave

    Wait. I’ve been hearing about this for months and finally took a look and almost ever feature covered here is in Edge. Tab groups, tab sidebar, split screen, and a bunch of other stuff. The only thing missing is link previews.

    I use Firefox and have done so since it started. I do use Brave a lot and like that as well. I cannot see anything about Arc that has any appeal or has anything that makes it worth having to be honest.

    Good browser for try but creating an account for use this not good. At least they need make this feature to be a optional

    The download and installation is giving problems.
    The download server gives an error code.
    I reported this to Arc, received an email, stating we're on it, but thusfar no solution.

      Give them a day or two. They generally have large well-disposed and well-dispersed teams operating from around the globe, to provide ever-satisfying user experience, that we all crave for, in moments of despair, isolation, and chronic rush.

    I use brave and chrome if it uses less ram and is faster in loading pages then hell yeah i will switch.but yeah its based on chromium so same speed and ram usage

      Nope, not all Chromium based browsers take the same RAM. Arc takes more RAM than Brave, use it side by side with the same number of tabs and check the resources. Edge also takes less RAM than Chrome.

    this feels like concept browser tht comes and goes like opera neon cant switch from daily browser ui like edge or chrome and for privacy there is brave and firefox
    edit : most feature arc is offering r already available in edge along with copilot ai

    You can get most thing with firefox CSS. As it is still very basic in windows, better to switch everything later. Edge/firefox/vivaldi even opera is now better alternative than chrome. Arc needs sometimes to include all of its features in windows version. After that, it will surely be a great browser. Meanwhile, you can try some different browsers, like sidekick, wavebox, stack next se, sigmaos(macos)

    ARC on Windows is almost unusable. Sometimes it’s impossible to click on some stuff it simply doesnt register, sometimes you can’t even close the browser you need to close it from the open windows

    The epitamy of a chromium browser has already've been met: its name is Chrome OS itself! The epitamy is since it is an All In One Solution being a browser and an operating system concurrently! How many browsers do you know is and an operating system as well?!

      I disagree. Google Chrome is a resource hog with few features and is slower than it used to be. That's why there are other successful chromium-based browsers like Brave, Edge, Vivaldi, etc.

    I fail to see the hype. Tree tabs is great extension. You can use it anywhere. I prefer floorp (a fork of firefox).

      I doubt that you still use a dumb phone and since you certainly use a smart one you can make use of it WITHOUT having to open an account and log in to it! Does Apple let you use an iPhone without an account on iCloud?! Or perhaps Android WITHOUT opening a Gmail account and login to it?! Why are you such a wheepy?! You can run, but you can't hide, ma man!😊

    seems useless to me, you gotta make an account and re learn where tabs are located, plus the tab bar wastes so much space and there are no unique features

      You can hide the tab bar by default. And the minor struggle of relearning where tabs are is worth the value of actually having tabs organized. And... There are dozens of unique features. That's like the whole point.

      Read the website. There's like a whole lot reason why they made Arc. And they make you create an account to not lose all your pinned tabs, folders, and favorites. Maybe you'll collect enough sense to click your URL bar and search what's the use of the browser.

      It's designed for minimalism, and organizing. You wouldn't want to use it if you're not into those things.

    Overrrated. Doesn't offer anything new that Vivaldi or Edge doesn't. I just installed and tried and then uninstalled it after watching your video

      I totally agree !! all of the grouping, pinning and splitting features are also available on Edge! even the vertical tabs are!!

      It became popular because of the Mac users and they heavily praised and promoted it, then Windows users demanded it to be on the Windows platform. I think it became so powerful among Mac users because most of them use Safari and it doesn't have these features, though I'm sure because I don't own a Mac.

    Having to create an account and no ipad version makes this browser useless for me. And focusing in windows without finishing Apple ecosystem correctly makes me believe this is just a data hoarding app and uses battery a lot in laptops

      Most importantly for all the Linuxphillic users, the question is, "Will Arc work in Arch Linux?"
