William Rory Gallagher (2 March 1948 - 14 June 1995) was an Irish blues-rock multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and bandleader. Born in Ballyshannon, County Donegal, and raised in Cork.
Rory was based in London during most of his 30-year career; he toured extensively, sold 30 million records, and had a worldwide following of loyal fans.

I would like to know why this man isn't in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. He deserves it.
That's because the Rock and roll Hall of Fame is somewhat of a joke there are many superlative musicians who were never inducted. I don't know who votes on these things but they couldn't have much if any musical knowledge. There are spectacular people like Rory and Gary Moore and there are others who have never been inducted and it's like a joke they were so Superior and not only excellent musicians but they gave everything they had to their music and their audiences so I just don't get it. But in our hearts Rory has a place of honor that no Rock and roll Hall of Fame could ever come close to and the same for Gary Moore maybe they ought to have some actual musicians vote on these things and that's some guy who has money and a fancy suit and has an extremely limited knowledge of actual music!
