Hiya Phil, my guess is that’s it a rejected repair from insurance company. Looks like it’s had a rear panel and a boot floor repair

It’s been the Bodyshop they have started the repair and found that there’s something else to fix and re estimated and took price over 60%

May be worth checking with KIA if it has a service plan. Maybe a selling point
Very new looking rear exhaust. Certainly on a 5 year old car. If it has had a rear end before then they will write it off for a second rear end shunt.
Kia also offer a 7 year factory warranty, as long as the service history is kept up.
