I work for foodliner. I transloaded starch for a while and hated it because of the crawling, hoses and split loads. Tips for anyone who does this..don't start unloading until 10psi, if gauge is broken like most of them, squeeze the hot hose and get use to the feeling when using a rail car that has a working gauge.. next open the line air around 3 clicks, then open the hopper completely. Make sure the aerator is on for that hopper. I fill the 2nd hopper on the trailer. If pressure gets too high, lower the rpm or close one of the un used aerators..if it's getting out of hand, crack the blow down. For 50k, the last on the trailer should be a little over half full, tap with mallet and axle gauge should be around 62-63 psi..I get 50k in less than 20 minutes and always between 49-51k..

That is what the processing plants look like on Shortline and Branchline railroads.

New to the trucking industry and I want to get into dry bulk hauling. I noticed that you have a lot of extra equipment if needed. Where would I get the parts?

20 years loading and unloading bulk plastic. I didn't like the rocks either, til I loaded in a railyard in Texas...rattlesnakes!!! Now I like rocks! So with flour you load through the bottom line and push the flour in from the bottom? I've seen guys in the yard doing this but i was busy with my own loading. Once I did see a large balloon type bag on top of the truck connected, I believe to a dome lid?

    • @Kingsplatform

Yeah we load through the bottom with flour and starch loads. I have seen some guys load through the top(Dom lid) before

Keeps the brass ears from vibrating open. You can also use Duc tap. Required on most pump work

You seem to be using a go pro mounted on your hard hat or your head. Switch to a chest mounted go pro. You'll get a much better angle of every task you're performing so the viewer can see exactly what you're doing. You head mount is aimed too high. I wish you well. You work safe.
