  • Join in the glorious uproar of creation with The Riot and the Dance, a boisterous new nature documentary featuring a biologist who was once told he would never succeed if he kept blabbing about all that silly Creator-creature nonsense. But now you can follow along with Dr. Gordon Wilson as he traverses our planet, basking in God’s masterpieces whether he’s catching wildlife in his own back yard or in the jungles of Sri Lanka. (Yeah, he did get bitten, but not by the cobra.)
    Showstopping footage and powerful narration will open your eyes to the extraordinary glory found all over the animal kingdom. From leopards and langurs to vipers and elephants and beyond, The Riot and the Dance is a cinematic exploration that you won’t want to miss.

    What a breath of fresh air!! Didn't have to hear the word "evolve" one time! I love nature but nobody ever made me see a lizard as beautiful until I watched this. Thank you. Thank you.

    Finally, nature documentaries I can watch without having to put up with all of the 'millions of years' nonsense. Thank you for making this. My only gripe is you left out the king of the beasts, the Lion! How could you leave out such an important animal, especially one that is most referred to in Scripture! Other than that, top notch quality guys, well done!

      Oh, thank God, truly. I had to cancel my attendance tonight (3/19) and have been terribly upset to know I would miss something so special. I've been hoping--yearning--for news that a DVD opportunity would be made available. You've helped to ease my heartache (and my stomachache!). I cannot WAIT for the DVD. I trust it will include Part 2: Water (2019 release)--and any other "Parts" that might be forthcoming? Bless you.

    I wonder if they’re going to talk about cancer cells that kill children? Such a wonderful creation by God

    • @janlovespix4699
      @janlovespix4699 Před 6 lety +2

      Matthew, respectfully, I'd like to point out that cancer cells are a result of sin coming into the world from Adam and Eve's rebellion. After the rebellion, everything in God's creation began to decay and eventually die. This was never God's plan, however, He did give human's a great gift called 'choice'. We can either choose to accept his plan of salvation through the death of His son on the cross and be free from sin/death/ sickness and live eternally with Him or not. It's our choice. Sin/hate/gluttony/greed/disease/death/etc are all a part of the fall. Eve's initial sin was 'not trusting that God had her best interest at heart'. It's still a problem with us humans until we learn of He is faithful, loving and a father that truly loves His children and that He does have our best interest at heart. We all need a savior from sin and we must turn to His son, Jesus, our savior. Hope this helps you see it from a different view point.

    • @mattjazzfan2288
      @mattjazzfan2288 Před 6 lety

      Jan Smith if it wasn’t God’s plan, then why would he create sin in the first place? You say sin exists because of human’s disobedience to god, but if god created Adam and eve with the ability to sin, then god is the one to blame.

    • @mattjazzfan2288
      @mattjazzfan2288 Před 6 lety

      God creating humans with the ability to sin and then punishing them for sinning, is like a programmer who purposely uploads a computer with a virus and then gets angry at the computer for not working

    I feel my religion is being attacked here. The clip states, "The Word of God is not just in black and red letters on onion skin pages; it living and breathing in the mountains, the deserts, the trees ". Clearly he is making an unfavorable comparison by wrongly describing scripture as just letters on a fragile page while nature is "living and breathing". If all the Bible is to this man is letters on a page he has failed miserably to understand it. Scripture describes itself as being "LIVING AND ACTIVE". Scripture is, for those who know it, the Eternal Word of God. It is God's own revelation of himself; it is God-breathed. The letters in black and white form words, and the words form sentences and in every part of every letter and in every phrase and sentence a Christian can come face to face with the God who by His WORD spoke everything into existence. We also, in his perfect Word, see Jesus who Himself can be described as "The WORD made Flesh". By all means look for God and find him in the World He has made but do not lower scripture to elevate nature.

      Dear friend, I sympathize with your reaction but must disagree with you. Consider the audience they are trying to touch. They already have the low view of scripture (even lower) alluded to. No doubt the makers of this film hold scripture in the highest esteem as you do. But consider a similar statement from Paul, "the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men." (1 Cor 1:25) Is God calling God a fool or weak? Of course not! He is only echoing the sentiment of his generation to make a powerful and opposite point. Let's see where the makers of the entire film take their audience. Let's withold judgment until we see the whole film.
      Here is another great video you may have already seen and has a similar argument but phrased with a question. "How can you say there is no God when all around you creation roars?" czcams.com/video/LwGvfdtI2c0/video.html
      Grace and peace to you.

      Well said, and I appreciate your comment! It made me think back to what the presenter meant by "not just in black and red letters..." Since you obviously love the Word, you know that God never intended His word to stay on the page. He meant for it to be written on man's hearts (Jer. 31.33; 2 Cor. 3.3ff)--in other words, He designed His Word to go further than the written page. In Psalm 19 David writes of two amazing ways to get to know God. He begins with "The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows forth His handiwork. Day unto day pours forth speech and night unto night reveals knowledge..." The first revelation of God is through His creation (Rom. 1.20)! But the last half of the Psalm praises and glories in God's revealed Word: "The law of Yahweh is perfect, reviving the soul..." So I don't believe the presenter is trying to minimize the power and authority of God's Word--He is saying that God ALSO reveals Himself through His creation.

    Much of nature is very curious and beautiful. Life on this planet is amazing. But to attribute it all to some fictional entity seems kind of silly.

      @marciamcgrail5889 Před 4 lety +3

      Just bc you say He is fictional, doesn't make it so. There is much compelling evidence, whether documentary (1,000's of externally verifiable manuscripts), scientific (geology, archaeology, palentology etc) or the natural world (prove how DNA's irreducible complexity, or blood, or nervous system, or a butterfly's wing (let alone the whole crysalis/butterfly thing) evolved) to open a closed mind.
