1:47.1 Fast lap from Saturday Session #1 plus the following lap and some random clips of sloppy skids and saves. Clip of Amir's NSX rocketing away down the front straight. I only caught him because of transmission troubles. A 1:46 was very possible but I never put it all together in one lap.

@@JaredFloyd Yeah I will get a link up here when finished. My centered rear cam is very whitewashed, but you may be able to use it because of track knowledge.

Didnt have the settings right on the gopro. There was definitely a 45 in there if I put it all together.
Blistering lap time it looks great! The rear end seemed a little more twitchy than usual, especially transitioning between 6 and 7 on that first lap. You're driving the line that I normally do; I changed my line this time based on advice I was hearing, but I'm not convinced it's faster for our cars. Congratulations on placing - next year Amir will have to move up to another class, right? Didn't he take Enthusiast class last year? Doing us dirty 🤣
Thanks. It's an S2000 - it's always been twitchy. 6-7 was a little ugly on that lap (was only the second lap of the weekend - still shaking the rust off). I was experimenting a lot this weekend with line choice and car set-up (mostly tire pressures). There was no way I was going to catch Amir in first place and had a comfortable gap ahead of third place so it was time to try new things.
Amir's NSX has been in Street class for a few years. I believe Enthusiast is the only class that forces you to move up once you win the class championship or win >50% of entered events. You better cool your jets Ian, or you'll win yourself out of Enthusiast next year!
@@JaredFloyd That's pretty impressive for what's essentially a warm-up to the track! I just bought another S2000, so if I get booted from Enthusiast I'll be ready to strip 'er down and see you guys on the Street class grid!
