after watching a few chiefs doing this routine, chief Sielu is still the best one. his english was the best out of the other chiefs. and if he were to wear modern casual clothing and cover up his tribal tattoos, he'd looked like the average black/brown new yorkers....
Seems some explanation is in order. Since I filmed this video in 1995, (10 years before the advent of CZcams), I would often share this video (the long version) with family and friends, with extremely positive reactions. So I always knew it was great content. I finally decided to upload the video to CZcams in January of 2022. A great deal of time was devoted to de-interlacing, upscaling and color correcting the footage. It didn't become popular until someone did a screen-grab of the footage from CZcams (which included the close-captioning), chopped it up and posted it on TikTok. It then appeared on Facebook. I discovered this when my views suddenly skyrocketed. Part of the reason is that people wanted to see the other parts of the video, and to see it in better quality. The reason I'm posting my own "short" versions is one, to allow repeat viewers (of which there are many, check the comments) to go directly to the short they want to view or share, and two, counter the many "crappy quality" copies of my video that are still out there. So, no, I'm not posting this "over and over." There's the original long version and the individual segments. That's it. Hope that helps.
