fun fact: Each member has a different story and struggle in the storyline, but Rm’s struggle is that he’s basically poor, living in a shipping container, which is why you see them in or around the shipping containers a lot. To make ends meet, he works at a gas station, which is why in the previous Mvs you see him at a gas station so much.
Remember that V climbed up to the high pole at the beach and jump as a butterfly? Yeah, this starts from that point, V jumped into the ocean, and stare back to someone.

2:50 - actually jin has a degree from konkuk uni for acting !! it’s insane, every member (other than jin, since he was in uni before being casted) has enrolled in post secondary school and a couple have gotten their degrees already :)
edit: the main point of this comment was to note that they enrolled after they got famous lolol my mind is elsewhere right now

@@LoveTheBasics 6 of the members have graduated from University (working on it while they were already in BTS). Junkook is still working on his degree. Suga, J-hope, Jimin and V are working on their MBA in Advertising and Media. RM and Jin are also in graduate school, but it's unclear to me what degree they are pursuing. I honestly wonder where they find the time.

I'm happy I found your channel. You have good vibes, a genuine interest in the boys, and I love people who actually know what they are talking about react to different aspects of BTS (ex: you reacting to mvs, vocal coaches reacting to them singing, choreographers reacting to them dancing, etc.) It makes me appreciate all of these different aspects of the band more and I get to learn stuff about filmmaking (in this specific case) that I wouldn't know about or have reason to look up otherwise. But I always like to learn new things. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience 💜

fun fact: Taehyung (or V, the one who had scenes underwater) can actually hold his breath for a while, great coincidence haha. In one of their run episodes he held his breath for like 1 min and 30 seconds or something

it's okay to analyze it from a filmmaker's perspective, cuz that's what we're here for!! Understanding the whole thing thorougly is hard because it involves so many clues, clues, and clues from everywhere. The other continuation and clues are not all in their music videos, some are in their books, game app (which is BTS Universe Story), in a manga/comic app (in Webtoon titled "Save Me) etc. The team behind them is so creative and mind blowing ☺️💜

V (Taehyung) actually acted in a K-drama called Hwarang in 2016. V is the first member of bts to appear in a Drama and he is the only member from BTS to make a acting debut
I don't care if you try to work out the storyline or not - I just love how some of your filmmaker insights show me another possible perspective on what I already know about the story that I would have never seen on my own
I always have so much fun watching you react to BTS because you definitely pick up more than me in terms of what was supposed to be the focus of a scene or a whole clip.

I just can't wait for you to see the wings short films I literally wrote a whole damn essay about it for school and got into a scholarship program because of it. i still see influence from it in my photography (im a photo major)and i am absolutely positive youre going to love it

In one of their tiny behind the scenes clips, as V is walking away from the tank after he was wrapped, he asks if someone can take the hammer out of his pocket. Just the thought of being weighed down while in street clothes in water gives me the heebie-jeebies.

i love hearing your genuine first reactions and interpretations to the mvs,, and i think thats one of the joys of not knowing the full storyline either. no pressure to you to learn the storylines too,, i honestly just love hearing commentaries about the mv's cinematography and its possible meaning, theories on how it was filmed,, etc. 💜💜
they made V do the water scenes a lot bc he has very very strong lungs.. in a Run BTS episode he stayed underwater for almost two minutes while holding his breathe, i think it’s impressive

I think you could react "save me" and "fire" after reacting to the epilogue, because they're not from the bu universe, but I think you'll be impressed with the sketch shooting of these mvs
MMA AWARDS 2019 will always be iconic...visually stunning with one of a kind performances. starting at 19 minutes is Dionysus which is highlight of the entire night. It is long but so worth it!

As a casual photography and film nerd I love hearing you talk about the equipment, how it works, what it's for, filming methods and all the other film technical stuff.
Also as a recent BTS fan the BTS Universe content and storyline is pretty daunting so I'm really enjoying watching it alongside you and hearing your take on it. If you're still enjoying reacting to and analyzing the BTS Universe I'm here for it but don’t feel like you need to force it ^^

But I think an hour long video from xceleste CZcams channel.all of the informations from the mvs, books, the save me webtoon and other contents that tie in with the storyline are there. Bts storyline summary by xceleste pick the latest one cause it's more updated. Gl to your storyline journey

@@LoveTheBasics there are a lot of parts because some of their normal music videos are also tied to this story but if you want just the short films than there are 10, i think. there should be a video on youtube with the whole story so that you dont have to watch it in parts

I would love to hear more about you and your filmmaking experience! During college I actually spent a couple of years in a program studying the business side of film production (chose a different career path in the end) - the business side is really stuffy so it’s super fun to see the creative side of things!
the older the MV, the less "expensive" the film crew will be, since BTS's company basically grew up with the band. As BTS grows, so does the company

Yes, talk about yourself (as is safe on internet). You have an interesting point of view. Once I learned their names and a little about them, I can often tell them even from the back.
I also noticed something that you might find interesting,,,
So every single character has their own "tragedy" of sorts. Yoongi with the fire, Jimin with the bath, etc. And when you're watching the videos, you can notice something really cool. When they're together, you can still see that they have those same impulses. For example, when they were sitting around the fire and Yoongi was flicking his lighter. But when they're with each other, they are able to help them get through that. In that situation, Jungkook blew out the fire. Or, in another scene, you can see Jungkook walking along a ledge over the ocean (you'll see that particular tragedy when you watch Euphoria), and he only gets down when the others run up to him. You see this constantly throughout the videos and I think it's a really nice thing that they added in.

Also, yeah don't get pressured about learning their names, trust me it will come naturally without you even realizing you've got all their names and faces down 😂 and although you've figured some of the biggest parts of the storyline (eg. jin time travelling), I still think the explanation of the storyline will blow your mind because it's everything you never expected! I'm excited for u to get to all of them!!

Yes. Find JK's first film he made and watch them in order to see his progress in movie making. Then it finishes with him actually directing the MV for "Life Goes On", a number 1 BTS Billboard Hit. JK loves movies and making them. I think he has a "good eye" for a beginner and being self taught. And I feel he is good at editing and matching the music to his films. Where did you study film? What do you do for a living now???

Love watching you react to and breakdown the cinematic aspects to BTS, but yes it would be interesting to see more into your journey and interests. ARMY are over zealous when it comes to sharing our boys and their amazing history and talent, but we are aware that others have their own passions, dreams and goals.
