    I love Tim Duncan so much...1) He plays the game the right way. No need to be flashy with all this stupid shit, just get the points and move on. 2) His professionalism/demeanor. I don't ever remember him trash talking someone, or crying for a foul, etc..and he's always composed. 1st ballot Hall of Famer..no question.

And hes stil chuggin along. Hes amazing, do you realize that his best teammates were: A 35-year old David Robinson, Manu Gibobili, and Tony Parker? Played 4 years in college. Who knows what could’ve happened if he left earlier. But almost guarantee the Spurs don’t get him, they had the worst record in the ‘97 draft due to David Robinson being out most of the ‘96-‘97 season. While he would’ve been a great player either way, who knows how different his career would’ve ended up if he wasn’t drafted by the Spurs. To me, he’s the greatest PF ever.

One of the main reasons I really think Duncan is the best PF ever in NBA history is because of his compatibility with a team mindset. And yes, Duncan is a PF. He plays with that style. It doesn't matter where he's put, but how

    I don't see why, regardless of whether or not he may not display much flash, people think that an absence of highlights make him a bad player. He is one of, or perhaps, the greatest power forward ever to play basketball. He's accomplished enough to earn that spot.

    @9Clutch Bernard King (NY Knicks). Red was trying to make people stop distinguishing between a PF and SF, as proven by KG, Duncan and especially Nowitzski nowadays. Look up 'Red on Roundball: Playing the Forward position'.

    Some idiots think Tim Duncan would have no place in modern basketball, what a joke. I guarantee you if Duncan plays today, he would start shooting bank shots beyond the arc.

    As a Heat fan, I've always hated Tim Duncan.... But as a bball fan (and a pf/center), what a fucking legend.

    It's AMAZING how a guy can have 4 RINGS and people not bring his name up when they speak about the top PF/C's ion NBA History, when in fact, the "Big Fundamental" may be the best PF ever.

  • @carsonnik
    @carsonnik Před 11 lety +3

    No, he appreciates good basketball, not hero ball. The idiots are the people who exaggerate and spew ignorant nonsense about "boring Tim Duncan." Those people only care about Sportscenter highlights and think that dunks make up 90% of basketball. Hell, if they want dunks, then Timmy has done PLENTY of dunks in his career.

    Still remember that finals vs Miami Heat super team, where this famous shot of him failed him or it didn't go in. Could've been or it was the winning shot.
