3 tablespoons olive oil
5 cloves garlic
1 large onion
1 small piece ginger
2 pounds beef loin tri-tip
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons five spice powder
1/2 cup soy sauce
6 cups water
3 stalks spring onion
2 tablespoons cornstarch, dissolve with 1/2 cup water
