Became a widow a little over 3 months ago, and he left nothing but a bunch of stuff behind. Moving from my home, into a travel trailer, and have been praying about what to do. Yall done threw some nuggets, and I am truly chewing on them. Thank you ladies.
Bless you sister, I am in the same boat. I became a widow this past August, left with 3 kids and no financial support. Fortunately, I also just moved into a trailer that his parents gave me so while I live rent free, I am looking to become debt free and and finally solidify my real estate portfolio. We need more conversations like this for women of faith as building multiple streams of income is God’s work! Rachel is such a great host and I love how the conversation flowed between her, Jayne and Bukiie.
There were too many nuggets to mention, but loved the quote from Bukiie about “Enjoying my present self whilst also planning for a future self”. I’m a firm believer that scheduling times for rest is essential for productivity in your business and career.
Rest is a must! You can't operate as your best self without it

Where in scriptures does it suggest? It seems we are attempting to build up security for ourselves on this earth when He is all of our security. We tend to attach ourselves to things of this world instead of being happy with little, we gorge on it all in the name of Jesus and we're getting it wrong. Pray, Be careful.

*color, God did not create the races, the European man created the social construction of race during the colonial period, before that ethnicity and nationality (which are real and not social constructions) are what existed. I believe it is part of my God-ordained purpose to let the entire world know that race is not real. Blackness especially is not real, Europeans called everything black negative before they even gave that term to people of African descent as a way to enhance their smear campaign.

‘Being inspired by other people’s journey but understanding that we can’t replicate what they have done’. This statement made by Jayne stood out to me because most times we are too quick to conclude ourselves as failures when we fail to replicate the same success made by those who inspire us.

Exactly, how do you seek God first and at the same time pursue wealth without not looking like a backslider because in order to build wealth you might miss some church service days, you might not be very much available for meetings in church etc. May God grant us wisdom

It will be far from backsliding because you’ll be led by God, every step of the way. Stop worrying about what it’ll look like or what MAY happen and just SEEK. “Speaking from experience “

Wow. Divine timing. I was just telling a friend that no one talks about the spiritual journey you embark on when building wealth. Living in the U.S., it's definitely portrayed as superficial and very surface level. Grind, hustle, never stop which isn't in alignment with the Bible.

Doing business God’s way I believe starts with the desire even coming from Him. I heard God being mentioned when facing difficulties which really is the mentality of most of us who seek God when in trouble but not put Him first in all we do. The ladies seemed to point at self for all the good stuff and achievements in their businesses which really I am inspired by because we also need to put in action on what God has called us to do. What I am saying and requesting to this podcast as I am subscribing is that can the ladies share their journey of doing business God’s way from the inception of how it came about and how they were led by the Holy Spirit in their journey, also the process of healing and preparation ❤️

Hello my dears Had a SPECT with someone I care for, he clam he is going to be rich before me, I said okay that you so will I in Gods time he is a is a teacher, so you will have a better understanding of why you have this wealth. And when I put on my CZcams page you guys were there. God is speaking to me in so many different ways. I am a new Christian in Christ. And I am learning the enemy shows out in people that you care for that are not believers. So I am happy that God put you on for me to show me that are women in the faith and not afraid to speak about money and why God says it’s okay to have it as lone as you respected it. That him not it.
