Chasing Adam Buck at Carver Lake Park | Mountain Biking Minnesota

- As summer was winding down and fall was picking up, Adam Buck and I got out for an absolutely beautiful evening ride at Carver Lake Park.
The trails at Carver aren't long - a lap is about 4 miles - but they are a lot of fun. The trail has good flow and a couple of wood features to keep things interesting. It can be surprisingly fast considering there isn't much election change.

Looking forward to heading out here with my e-bike when it arrives in September. Thanks for the awesome video mate.
Thanks! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Have fun with the new bike!
this trail looks like alot of fun man
It is!
I've ridden there twice now and it's pretty fun. Lot of optional stuff to keep it interesting.
I feel like I like this trail a little more each time I ride and since it's close I ride it often.
Nice, like your guys riding style. Funny, I met adam buck last weekend at welch on the chair. Sup...
That guy is everywhere. You can't escape him! 😄
The rylo is sick, it needs a ton of light though.... But I just edit and produce clips using my phone, so you could probably get better results with better software/post production.
right on, they seem pretty cool. This video was pretty much the only time I've gotten to play with one.
Sure i like carver but you know the spring itch is real bad when i'm watching a video of someone riding carver
Haha!
I'm planning my trip to Minnesota what should I expect and where should I ride like parks, singletracks, etc.
What time of year are you coming? Early spring and fall can be kind of a crapshoot here. It can be wet and our trails are closed when it's wet. And of course everything is covered in the snow in the winter.
In my opinion Duluth has the best riding in the state right now. The Piedmont area has the most technical riding, Hawk's Ridge and Lester Park are other favorites. Here is the website for Duluth's trails. www.coggs.com . Spirit Mountain ( www.spiritmt.com ) has good lift access DH trails and Giant's Ridge ( www.giantsridge.com ) has a couple of great lift accessible trails that's about an hour from Duluth. There is a ton of building going on in that area so who knows what will be up and running next year.
If you're looking in the metro area, there are a lot of fun trails, but they are mostly XC oriented. Lebanon Hills and Theodore Wirth are both fun. Battle Creek is a personal favorite but it can be a little tricky to navigate so be prepared to use the Trailforks or MTBProject apps. Information about the twin city metro trails can be found here. www.morcmtb.org . Welch Village ( welchvillage.com ) has fun lift accessible trails and it is about 45 min from the Twin Cities.
Finally check out the channels of Brian Vaughn ( czcams.com/users/thevoghan ) and Steve Hausmann ( czcams.com/channels/R5e1nnKetzATT3fW9mOtBg.html ). They both have videos from a bunch of MN trails.
@@KrisYahner I'm going twords the start of June and thank you for the information.
Make sure to go to spirit mountain
You guys were hauling *ss... So crazy how the GoPro makes roots vanish, and all the features look like they're only 2" off the ground.
That's the "GoPro effect" for ya!
I died and went to skinny Heaven! :)
Not a bad place to end up!
