I didn't know people used claw clips specifically for the look (they're cute but I never really thought about it), I just wear them because I'm lazy and they're convenient, and also because they don't pull on my hair like an elastic does

The lower bun was too big and heavy, and the top part ended up flopping over. It's also really heavy and it pulls too much so I can't imagine it lasting very long :(

i think she means like a wishbone. like if u think the top is the hair tie loop it through there, then pull it tight so it’s a circle again. hope that helps !!

I was in a near-fatal car wreck wearing one of those. Along w/my many major injuries, I had a strip of hair that was attached to a long vertical scab that came off my scalp about a lil over a month of bn in the ICU.

I use claw clips because it's the only way the top of my hair doesn't look so awful and slicked back, and also because they don't cause headaches QUITE as much as hair ties and srunchies do. I just wear my hair down mostly because I just cannot win lol!
The issue for me is the feeling of ANYTHING pressing against my head, especially when driving, so I always end up just doing a low messy bun or braid 😂
