--------
In this clip, Reggie Wright Jr. started off speaking about being at Kelly Park, which Reggie explained is where Eazy-E grew up, and he added that it was also the site of “Bloody Sunday.” Former LA County Sheriff Frederick Reynolds started off giving details about the incident, which took place on April 2, 1989. Reynolds explained that one subset of Crips, the Santana Block Crips, was in a war with the Kelly Park Crips and Atlantic Drive Crips, who were at Kelly park that day. At one point, a shooting took place, which led to an innocent woman being killed in front of three kids in her car, along with a Kelly Park Crip. Reynolds then spoke about getting tips about the shooters, which led to a case being opened. Reggie Wright Sr. then started detailing the investigation of the incident, including a Santana Block Crip that he had a good relationship with that gave him information. Reggie also revealed that another innocent bystander in the park was shot that day, and Reynolds went on to speak about only one suspect being arrested and charged in the incident. He then added that one of the Crips was left blind for life after being shot in the head, and Reynolds revealed that the lone suspect is on death row for the shooting. - Zábava

Man this would of been so much better with a slide show of the victims and suspect pics
And people laugh when I say I Promote Peace on Earth. ⏳
Totally agree and keep up the work
@@reggiewright Thanks 💯
Who laughs?

These stories are mind blowing. War is horrible.
They're animals
who cares, just a bunch of black ghetto thugs killing each other
I wouldn’t call it war let’s call it 50 years of stupidity
"War" lmao
@@kaylanier1324 its just stupid black culture
Great series of interviews.
Imagine joining the Crips just to be killed by Crips
It’s been like that since the 70’s Crips are so big different Crip hoods beef with each other it’s sad though first Crip beef was rollin 60’s and eight treys
Imagine being in a Chicano gang all your worst enemies are Chicanos for generations
@@knowledgeborn9826 actually.. That may or may not have been the case. I can't remember which hoods, but allegedly some other Crips started going at it before the 60s and eight Treys. I remember watching something like that on Kev Mac's channel. But it wasn't felt the way The 60s ETG beef was felt.
@@sircharles820 Palmer bloccs & south sides been beefing for almost more than 30 years too I think that was the first Crip on Crip beef
@@knowledgeborn9826 now that I think about it. It's crazy to me how all of the Compton Crips were able to Collab on the bangin on wax and nationwide RIP ridaz albums. People thought it was crazy that the bloods and Crips were able to Collab, but the thing was most of the bloods came from Inglewood and the westside of the 110. So they didn't have any major conflicts between the two sets. I think the swans had a couple of rappers on the second bangin on wax. But the Compton Crips came from all sorts of different hoods.
best interview of the year!!!!
Thanks man
I remember this day like yesterday RIP Big Hawk
Yu was there?
tell your story
This is dope 🔥🔥🔥🔥 ,,keep surprising us with new stories🔥💪💯🔥
I'm so sorry for all the lives that were lost.😢😢. Sometimes I would go through Compton in the 80's and I could feel a deep sadness , pain, and evil there. I always wondered what bad things happened there over the years. I always prayed for the people of Compton that God would protect them and give them peace.
good upload.hope this series continues the shield but its real...
Always heard crazy stories about Kelly Park from the old Bloods and Crips Rap Album back in 93. Most of the crips on that album were from Kelly Park and Atlantic Drive
So happy to see Reg and Vlad doing the damn Thang. Great series. Love seeing Compton, looks cleaned up since I lived there in the 90's
Good interview 💯
Great series this is!!
Chico and some of those guys were real close with Eazy. Chico later became close to Lil Eazy and Lil Eazy even shouts him out on the song Letter 2 My Homeboys
Sad those kids had to see that. I'm wondering did Vlad take my suggestion. I wrote on a video like a year ago how it would be interesting if Reggie Wright Sr. actually going back to areas in Compton breaking down the history behind it. You see get to hear the real story; and the aftermath.
Those kids gotta be traumatized if they’re still living they need to interview the woman that survived
GREAT CONTENT.
Best interview segments
I remember Mr Hamilton. He was a detective Compton police . I grew up in the south side area . Would like to here a story about him
Keep the stories going R.i.p to one of my all time fav Eazy ✊🏽
Do these things more
A hard-hitting story. But, it was told very well!!
He's wrong about the relationship.
The Atlantics and Southsides are together.
SSADCC- Southside Atlantic.
At that time the Kelly's, Southside, Atlantics and Neighborhoods were allies.
The neighbourhoods are so visually nice, great parks, beautiful weather. These dudes really missed out on living the good life and chose to ruin it.
They weren’t nice in the 80’s and 90’s. Compton has changed drastically.
but thats because it was a rich neigherhood WHOs residents left once 1 black nigga
@@357twilson they basically looked just the same
That's what i was thinking. Hearing these storie you would think these neighborhood would look fucked up, but they look really nice. Maybe they didn't look like that in the 80's
@@lennon4701 yeah, but the westcoast overall looks better because its newer than all the other coasts, most these hoods were for the well off people in the soCal area.
While it ain’t good we need more of this
Really liking this new style! I hope this isnt a one and done!
I can imagine that during that time in South LA, there were thousands of “Bloody Sundays” that happened.
I remember this day like it was yesterday…
I remember this vividly

Wow this is some pretty harsh stories damn
It’s interesting how Reggie Sr and Jr both speak with the same cadence lol
They need to do way more stories
I watched this video 3 times my mind is blown😶
South side & Atlantic was together old timer trippin
nutty south atlantic you already know
The real Assassins of Compton.
I was out there that day for a family members birthday I was 7 years old smh..
The Batts brother who was killed in Late 88, was known as "Dynasty Dave"
Yup his death is the actual reason behind the Santana Atlantic drive beef. Santana blocc sold him sheetrock instead of cocaine and when he went to get his money back he got killed.
@@kidkullywas it always South/Atlantic
@@kidkully was this during the 'Turtle' era of Santana??
@@FullyAutomaticAddict410 turtle was in prison when Dynasty Dave died it was around thanksgiving 1988

Is this what ole boy was talking about on the Steady dipping verse ?
Before April 2nd come back and haunt yo ass
Unfortunately and fortunately we got to hear this, because alot people act like the violence just started. The late 80s and early 90s was way worse than today. Just wasn't social media so something like this I would have never known about where as today I would know all about it.
yep
Bruh all this shit dumb. I pray one day I the black community we see the light .
Them audio levels. Vlad getcho editor
I thought it was southside/Atlantic don’t panic. Guess I’m too old now
It is that still
It is, the pig said it wrong asf
Yes but they got new beefs with all the crips
Awesome
This idea to tell these stories is genius
Who was the witness in the courtroom
Sounds like they based the video from 'Were All in the Same Gang' song from this horrible event.
can we get a story on OG turtle ?
A lot of music videos and movies where filmed there as well...a thinline between love and hate basketball scene
Damn ak with the banana ding! Savage
Heard about this from the east coast, when west coast news spread throughout the east you know something is serious, war isn't right!🙁
As a lifelong midwesterner, ove always found the gangbanging lifestyle stupid, but i really find it wild that crips bang on crips 🤣
It’s because of their close proximity to each other. The crips outnumber the bloods by such large portions, so crips typically have run ins with other crips. Their neighborhoods are right next to each other.
Notice how Reggie and blondie are constantly on look out while Fred is talking, must still be pretty active there
It's just what you do.
You stay on point.
Hell nah. Compton all Mexicans now
@C Archer They get active too.
You outta state or something?
@@carcher1338 no it ain’t it’s just more Mexicans now than back in the day. It’s like 33% black 60% Mexican but in terms of gang shit it’s 50/50.
@@studentoflife3501 Boy stfu I was in Lueders 2 weeks ago. All I saw was Mexicans.
The P in park crossed out lol
People don't speak enough about mental issues in our community and how detrimental they are. Imagine what it does to the malleable mind of a six year old to see an adult in your close proximity get half their face blown clean off, dead. And then seeing another dead on the spot from catching a bullet to the head.
So true! And then they grow up numb to it and normalized to violence.
@@ogbobeatstvsneakersnewsstocks bingo, some so numb that they may be privy to violence themselves. You're talking LA - gang culture is embedded in several generations of people. It's crazy to think about sometimes.
It’s real stories of kids seeing that and becoming killers later in life….Dude was foul for shooting into a car with kids…and all these “O.G”s talk today like they had so much more morals and principles than these young boys running around

To an innocent mother in front of a bunch of kids. Hilarious alright
Yall gotta write some *BOOKS* about these events. For real.
This is too much to fit into a 1 hour video let alone 15 minutes.
We NEED to preserve all of this history, as tragic as it is.
I think in ep 1, they mention that two of those officers (not Wright Sr) wrote books about their experiences policing Compton at that time.
The media know easy as being from Kelly park but actual Compton OGz always say he from neighborhood Compton.. and neighborhood and Kelly been United since that pannes piru era ended so you could definitely just mistaken him for a Kelly cause he just be at the park all the time… it’s like mistaken a nella for ah wsp or ah Atlantic drive for ah south side. Maybe even mistaking a atf for whatever. That’s what happens when you always in someone else hood
Compton looks pretty nice now, at least from these vids
