wow. Exactly what I was looking for. How to make a set of balls but not have all that geometry inside after joining the meshes. If you just join two objects... it's gonna screw up anything you want to do later. This is a great tutorial! fast and to the point.

bcz has totally changed the topology of the mesh, so need to build the uv mapping of the new mesh
Or just use some shaders without uv coordinate
