    Very nice to see you enjoying our country. I live here and have motorcycled all over the place but never bother really when at home. This is now on my must do list. Lots of good crazy camping too, Hopefully you will return in better times and thank you

    I do the north coast every couple of years with friends from Bangor and Newtownards and did it 6 months ago. But now in December 2021 it's so so sad to watch this and know that our freedoms are being rapidly taken away daily and this year was probably the last time we'll ever do it. We've been played like a stradivarius the last 2 years and have been dragged into a tyrannical dystopian nightmare. At least we have fantastic videos like this to look back on.

    Absolutely first class, I enjoyed every second of it. Eniscrone and Ballina brought back fond memories. I'm off to Andorra on my GS next week and I hope I get as much enjoyment as you lads did. Good luck.

    I spotted my house :) We call the plane "The Yoke" here. Was a big hype about it when it landed on the shore and got transported to the camp grounds. ....and 4 years on, the place looks still the same, pity it never got finished.

    Absolutely wonderful trip, enjoyed every minute. Next trip please consider doing live commentary it adds a lot to the video. Just bought a Harley Davidson to go touring in and around Mexico city where I live. Thank you very much.

    Great video of your waw trip. Was considering that for next year. 🤔 looks like you guy's rode into some nasty weather, but not all bad by the looks of it. We had some rain when we done the nw200 last year. But, like you guy's we had our fair share of the sunshine on the Emerald Isle 😁👍

      Paul Mansell . Cheers Paul. Comments appreciated. I have since been and done the southern WAW. Absolutely stunning! Again the weather was kind. Sill got to go and see the NW200. Next year maybe?

    Do you need passports for the south, also really enjoyed the video I’m doing it this year. Was there plenty of campsited

    • @bigalex7942
      @bigalex7942  Před rokem +2

      To be honest I can’t recall about the passport situation. However with Brexit and the whole Schengen issue, I guess you would be wise to take them. We stayed in hotels. I saw some glamping sites. I would guess there are plenty of campsites? Enjoy you will love it! 🏍️💨✊

      No passports needed. Ireland and Britain have a mutual agreement since 1922 (date of Irish independence) called the CTA (Common Travel Area). This guarantees citizens of both Ireland and Britain the freedom to travel, live and work in each other's countries. Hence no passport checks. This agreement is the reason both countries had to stay out of Schengen. After Brexit the same agreement continues to be applied between both countries.

    I'm always nervous at the on/off a ferry- I imagine it's so slippery

    I'm returning to the UK after 10 years in China. Just bought a Harley Lowrider S, customized it and it's got a shiny new 131ci engine (2146cc). Looking to do NC500 perhaps this Aug / Sep, or combine that with the WAW next year (2022) in reality what I'd like is the NC500 then a total coastal 'tour' of the island if Ireland but that may be too much in one bite. My wife doesn't do pillion although my daughter may (she's 10), (so wife may be up to running as a chase car (baggage)). If you or anyone else wants to do that journey again, or the one I'm thinking of PM me, I'm quite happy to route plan etc.

      @helenaville5939 Před 10 měsíci

      This was a good trip but they missed out on the best of the WAW. The west and south-west coasts are the most spectacular, with the more interesting entertainment, bars, cafes, museums, festivals, etc.

    I personally never understood Ireland for holidays. It's too similar to Britain to have much novelty value plus bad weather.

    • @helenaville5939
      @helenaville5939 Před 10 měsíci

      Ireland similar to Britain? You've clearly never been to Ireland, and especially not done the Wild Atlantic Way. Nothing like it in Britain.
