    I ordered my JX3 saddle and of course I used the CD22 code. I watched a ton of videos on it and they all had their own code, but I saw it here first. I was really impressed with the service over at JX3. The gentlemen I spoke to anwsered ALL of my additional questions. We talked hunting senarios and by the time the call ended, I felt like we had been friends 20 years. These guys are definitely cutting edge. I would love to see them come out with that top step that could be mounted to a more traditional light stick. I just ordered a set of the gen 3 tethrd even though they have had a lot of bad press on the gen 2, they stood behind the recall and they have the lightest step on the market to my knowledge. Weight isnt a huge concern over comfortability but it is a concern. I ordered the madrock safeguard and a 40ft line so I can descend in the dark a little safer and a backwoods aider to get up higher. Im estimating weight here since I dont have any of these products in my hand yet but here they are. JX3 10lbs. Tetherd sticks 3lbs. 40 rope 3.6lbs. Multiple carabiners 3lbs. Linemans rope with ropeman 1 is just under 1 pound. I carry my quiver on my pack and all the camera gear, multiple cameras, selfstick, batteries, tree mount camera arm etc, water, lunch, and the list goes on is around 19.7lbs. All total its between 36-40lbs. That doesnt include my 8lbs plus crossbow with optic and tactacam. I had to shave some weight somewhere and really the only options I could think of were sticks and lighter camera mounts. All of this is subject to change once I get it all together for play time. Ive been thinking about that camo dust alot too. I may give that a shot and see how it compairs to the weight of a dead down wind spray bottle in my pack. Thanks for posting this video, those JX3 guys are tip of the spear and look forward to your next product review from them.

    A buddy of mine hunts with all of jx3 products and swears by them! Says they are equal to, if not better than some of your higher priced sticks.

    Great channel, really love that intro with the sound of the arrow being released and it hitting its target.

    THE JX3 STICKS WITH THE BULLMAN OUTDOORS RING OF STEPS WOULD BE PHENOMENAL ACTUALLY THE BULLMAN STEPS CAN GET U UP THE TREE AND THE JX3 can be your platform with the BULLMAN OUTDOORS R.O.S. & u would be set up comfortable 360degrees all way around

    Great video but I still use a hang on. With all that movement, some doe on the plot will see me and haul ass scaring off the bucks.

    Can you do a video on how to use a jx3 and these steps in a leaning tree? I can't figure it out effectively

    You are showing us one size tree. Unfortunately many times I have to hunt in trees that are 5’-6’ in circumference. In those cases what you have demoed would not work. You can always add a ring of steps but what no one talks about is that when you walk off a climbing stick while hunting it will flex up an make noise. Have you noticed a small scratch noise when you step off these sticks?

    I did buy the JX3 Hybrid saddle, but $250’for the sticks is Way way way way way too much. $150 is a fair price, bit Hell No for $250. And the CD22 discount code is $12 bucks off. Thanks but NO Thanks for that amount. I’ll keep my rings of steps

    How well do these nest together for transport? Do they interlock with each other or just slide together tightish then have to tie them together?

  • @garrettrichards7370
    @garrettrichards7370 Před rokem

    Might be a stupid question but how do they attach? I would think just setting them on the back seat they would fall off pretty easy when going through thick brush. Do you buckle them in with the leg straps? Looking at getting a set but they are currently sold out.

    What light weight climber do you use?

  • @averageoutdoorsman9342

    4 of your sticks and the saddle puts total weight well over 10 pounds just to climb a tree. Why not use a climber? I'm a saddle hunter only because it saves weight and space. This eliminates both of those things. What's the benefit?

    • @reddawng43x91
      @reddawng43x91 Před rokem +1

      Because a climber is 20lbs not 10lbs

    • @averageoutdoorsman9342
      @averageoutdoorsman9342 Před rokem

      @@reddawng43x91 and my setup weighs 7 pounds less than that. If the goal is weight/space reduction, 4 to 5 sticks is not the answer.

    Good lord at the bulk, you’re have to take a wheel barrel to get all that shit in the woods.
