OMG this is the most *glorious* Posca haul we have ever seen!!
Damn who knew Kasey is a pro-pizza doodler as well...
hi guys
I'm a pro pizza eater, too.
Doodle Date i love you steph and Adam
PROFANITY
You know this was Adam because Steph would've gone wild over the swatching XD
Wasn’t paying attention til 1:25 and I thought that was Kasey’s collection of posca pens
I love your name 😭😹
Omg I wish I had your art store near me- that Posca display is GORGEOUS
I have uni posca for white lines😂
I know, right?! Did you see the Copic marker display on the left, too?
My art shop has one, but I’m a pen and wash nerd
Holy crap, i love ur lineless art!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
SAMEE
I love all of her art lmao
All those poscas, so jelly! I definitely prefer using them to add detail, because of the way just work over most things. It is a bit of a pain colouring in big sections with them. THOUGH I think your piece has such character/nice textures and I think it works really well. Yes buy more! :D
The Average Artist I’ve always wanted to try those but I’ve never gotten to it yet.
Presto Paints I have a huge yellow one, and it's really nice to use for pops of colors! It's especially pretty with sketches or graphite drawings ^^
Hey do Y'all know what the song is?
You can get one with a bigger nib 😊
you need to realize that she’s saying posca pin instead of posca markers?!?
I love how you did the bark on the trees! This turned out beautifully!
Mira Byler Yes! It turned out great!!
Yesssss
Mira I love your channel!!! What size Poskas do you use
I've only ever used Posca markers for small details and highlights and never tried to fill in bigger swaths of colour with them but both your doodle and finished piece look fantastic! I love the autumnal tones in the mushroom piece. That red wine marker really is gorgeous! And the Kasey doodle is just so cute!
I use these ALL THE TIME on my channel! I absolutely LOVE them! 😍😍
Chelsey DIY ok...
You should definitely try to paint on surfaces other than paper/canvas, like rocks, shells, ceramic items and such. They work great on them!!
Vliegende Fiets are you Dutch?
Oh, woah! I’d never expect to see you here! Hiya, Blue Fire XD
Once for a school thing, we used them on clear plastic and they turned out really well
or leather bags, i was thinking of buying these and customize bags
Suraku / Vliegende Fiets yess I agree!!
In my opinion, Posca pens are great for line less, and flat coloured illustrations. I would love to see you use these pens on the polaroids, I think they would look amazing! Great vid btw!
kork bortrand i tried to use them on polaroids but they just scratch each other off and there’s like a 10% chance of layering
6:31 DID SHE JUST DRAW A STRAIGHT LINE WITHOUT A RULER
ducksauce how does she do it
It is not that hard actually
Well she does also have a pencil sketch done already
I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler so oof
Oh heeeeeeeellllllllllll yesssss
2:04 LMAO I JUST CACKLED “THANKFULLY IM A WEEB”
Jason Arruda I personally dislike weebs but she seems like a cool person and I’m a fan of her lol
Solihtary how can you dislike someone from what kind of tv they hate, I’m not tryna be rude I just don’t get it. (I’m a weeb if you didn’t guess)
Lala Nails bc weebs usually are creeps with yellow fever
hailey renae HAHAHA
I use my POSCA markers mainly for drawing onto fabric, glass or ceramics. I find it really fun and useful to add patterns and art to everyday objects.
which nib do you have
Manar M'Rabet did you buy some if so what size??
What size do you have??
I’ve been thinking about buying Posca’s as well. The mixed media artists I watch use them for detail work over every medium/surface imaginable. I had no idea they came in so many colors. I love the colors you used on the mushroom illustration - very nice! May I suggest contacting the store to see if they will replace the blue markers that don’t work well? If they won’t replace, I’d suggest contacting the manufacturer. I would think they’d be happy to replace your defective markers. Thanks for another fun video.
111th like, good job friend!
You're not late,
you're *fashionably late*
yes. just.... hell yes.
True
You’re
Well I’m late to this comment...
Fizzy Egg me too
9:08 Finally! The face reveal I requested!
Aoeut she did a face reveal a while ago...
Laura Ion Oh, right, at 0:00. Not sure how I missed that.
Aoeut no I meant in another video...
Aoeut she has done a face reveal so long ago
Aoeut she face revealed at the first of the video :/
I’ve never heard of these but they look really cool!
Those look amazing! I love the wine red color and the whole color scheme of the mushroom illustrations! Well done, Kasey ♥
I really wanted to get some posca markers, too, but I couldn't justify the price (considering I should be learning for my state exam anyways).
They are QUITE pricey, for sure, more than I usually spend on supplies I'm not sure about... So I'm glad I like them! Haha.
MaschaDraws good luck on your exam!
PLEASE DO MORE WITH THESE PENS! I love the lineless style! It looks so good.
We have them in the art room at school but all the tips (is that what they’re called?) are fuzzy, Broken and the colours are mixed. I always sort them out and put masking tape on the top of the pen but people always take them off.
I’m glad you enjoy using them :)
yep, they're called tips :)
Not all heroes wear capes
So nice 🤗
@Lawrence Dollens nibs are for digital art pens I think.
Drawing in purple? I guess Waffles is rubbing off on you 💕😂❤️
I love these myself! When I paint on canvas I use these to add tiny details like a lot of straight lines or to add highlights with the white~
“thankfully i’m a weeb” DMSKSK IM SUBBING
samee
Your eye-hand coordination is amazing. Also, I learned a key factor in getting the color on more efficiently, by parting the areas to be filled. I have never used those markers but am glad I tuned in!
These were really cool to watch you create. I think I would have had trouble with the pen width myself. I've always had a little trouble with paint pens, although I use alcohol based markers a lot.
I've never used paint pens before, but I know I've never liked the streaks you get from alcohol markers, I'm just not a fan of the texture or anything with them. Paint pens... I can get behind!
Omg i love her art style!!
This is so cute, I fell in love with how you showed the light beam. I recreated it in my journal using gouache, not as good, but it was fun. Your art always inspires me!
what do you mean no one cares about the self portrait... i loved that doodle!
I actually use fine tip posca pens for my doll customs. Surprisingly useful. I don't have to get out my paints for a tiny bit of the eyes, I can just uncap a pen.
Formoka maybe I should try that!
Susanhatesbacon I hope it works out for you!
I just ordered a pack of these yesterday from amazon 😂 I think they would work great on polaroids, I would love to see you do that again with these pens!
That final drawing looks so awesome i love it
REALLY liked that mushroom drawing. Love autumn colors!
I love your art style. Its simple but cute. This turned out really nice!
Teach me sensei. Teach me the art of ants bees and awesomeness. And patience.
Her drawings are amazing 😱
Kasey, you definitely need to try them more!! I just loved the results and that simple and bright doodles!
I love using them. I use them all the time. Yaaaaaaaaaay! Hope you use them more ☺️
I literally started using poscas today, haha! The doodles are so cute. Did you use regular watercolour paper? I found that my markers tear it up really quickly if I go over the same area twice, so I resorted to using some canvas pads I had lying around.
I used hot press watercolor paper and it destroyed it, haha. Like you said I could only go over each spot once and even then it was risky!
Kasey Golden yeah I thought so, haha! It's not too visible in the video so I was a little baffled that it's not really happening with your work.
Wonderfool I used mixed media paper. It doesn't eat the paper that bad.
Kasey Golden Maybe then you should try the molotow markers. They are very good. I even paint with them on printpaper. But apperently they are pretty expensive, i paid 4€ (5$) for each pen.
Wonderfool all paint pens work best on tri-fold posters. I just buy mine at Dollar Tree and cut them to the size i want.
I love this. and the colours work so well, will definatly have to try them.. love what you did with the light source to
you do such a gorgeous job with these it really gives me inspiration for my own art :D honestly posca pens are my favourite pens out of all the pens i’ve ever tried I just love them
With her first one she said she was just warming up I could not do that if my life depended on it
They are so famous here in italy! I love them!
Its so satisfying to see you mix the colors 😍
Loooove the purple shading!
Kasey you should have put a trigger warning in the video for 1:24 !! As a poor art supply hoarder I feel attacked! 😭😭
All i got is an old set of 24 faber castelle watercolor pencils and some pens. I never actually bought them, my sister just gave em to me.
I feel like half of you missed the joke lol
OP never said they were ashamed, they just want to buy the pens but can't afford it.
saturnday Nah they get the joke.
Ashmita Nandy hey, just wanted to let you know that trigger warnings are for people with ptsd, epilepsy and other health problems because certain things can cause them to have an episode, disassociate, have panic attacks, or have seizures. they’re not for people who are offended or feel attacked by things and they certainly aren’t a joke, thank you.
Ashmita Nandy why feel attacked when you can feel proud with having what you have
I’m loving the music ♡
Oh and love your forest sketch in harmonic warm tones...the detailing is really successful
I lovee the bright colors UGH
I've literally never heard of posca pens, so this was a fun surprise :)
that is so cute, make me wanna buy them to, but I always feel guiltynif I have artsupply that later I dont use anymore, coz I have plenty...
Okay, I really LOVE this drawing. I think that you nailed the color palette. I can imagine that gouache would also look nice with this drawing.
Please do more! This was the first of your videos I have seen and I subscribed. Amazing haul and amazing work!
Always get a joy watching your art.
Hi Casey.. I bought poscas a few months ago and find them very versatile. I get water colour effects by wetting the paper first and then feathering with the nib. I also bought the 15.0mm pens and they are beautifully pigmented and flow well(and cover quickly). I work the posca pens on canvas as well. Have you tried the liquitex paint markers? I find their transparent colours beautiful to glaze and scummble with...I really like the poscas opaque quality.
I love these Posca Pens! They are so fun and pigmented! I also loved the colours you chose for your final piece!!
I love how you did the shading in purple.
I'm always behind with the latest trends as well. XD
I love the review like videos, like this one. I would love to see more of these! Lots a love! ❤️
The last big illustration was very satisfying to watch while it was sped up and I had NO IDEA what you were drawing so that made it an adventure! It was just great. Luv u Kasey!
I just ordered the 15 pack, I'm so excited to try them out finally, talk about being behind in trends but I just got back into art not too long ago. Thanks for all your inspiration!
1:24 is it heaven??
INFAMOUS_ PICKLE no it’s deez nut
Pen heaven!!
I love how thick and pigmented they are, I’d love to get some, not sure for what...I’m just a pen hoarder😂😅💕
I love my Posca pen. I just have a really skinny red one but it works super well when working on the little details in my art. I add a lot of little red details in my pieces and the way they go right over lineart and color is perfect.
I love the drawings you make, they always come out looking great and unique, and you don’t have to keep up with the trends, you do what you want on your time. ❤️✍️
Hey Kasey! What is the background music? Thanks I couldn't find it!
Next time you paint on a photograph you should try some bleach. You can get some insane colors and effects with just plain bleach. Different strength dilutions give you subtly different effects.
i love that background music it’s so calming
I fell in love with these posca pens!
why is she so pretty, im gay not blind
this was fun i love ur videos
OMG this is the first video from you I saw way back when I was looking up Posca guides. So glad I found your channel that day.
This seems like a great medium for your style because all of the pieces look awesome!
Bruh, in my school we used to use those markers to write on the tables. 😂😂😂
they're japanese? and trending? i live in italy and i've been using them since i was a little kid, they're very common
MrSasyB that's really cool and I'm jealous lol
yes, they’re Japanese.
produced by Mitsubishi pencil (Japanese company )
Oddio qualcuno che mi capisce! Davvero ma che infanzia hanno avuto queste persone?
Ayane Sakaguchi Isn’t the name Actually Uni? Mitsubushi Pencil is a product they made.
omg please do more!! These Posca Pens Match you're arts style perfecly! :D
I love the way you colour!! You use the line method too. I have done that since I was little but thought it was just an OCD thing. Happy to see I’m not the only one 😄
It looks so cool! You should try copics o similar, they may be more up your alley! :)
Not a fan of alcohol markers. :P
Amazing 😀
I like how you color the trees. Awesome
I have to say.... your art is so adorable! I love the soft, roundness of your art. It's so hip and cool. I love watching people draw but yours... there's something so intriguing about it, I'm sure I'm not even conveying myself properly.
I have five of those
I need to get me some of these bad boys aghhh!
I love your art style. It's so funky!
I love your art style, everything you do turns out magical!!!!!
Are poscas not accessible in America (the continent I mean) ? I'm french and those are really common here and in Europe, haha! It was funny to see, I love your videos and you are incredibly talented
Anya Frndz I’m incredibly late to answer but yes, posca pens are available in America (at least in the US but I don’t see why Canada wouldn’t have any). You can buy them online (usually Amazon, but you can use other websites such as dickblick). I saw that Micheals (a art supply chain store) sells them online so I’m going to assume they also have these in store.
@@emeraldemerson6726 they are also avaliable in some stores in South America (at least in Brazil), even tho it's not that easy to find them here :')
@@emeraldemerson6726 micheals in our place either only have 2 markers left or nothing. always sold out
what paper / sketchbook do you use?
aquarella
I love how I always see artists on eachothers channels supporting eachother! It's so awesome to see
all these drawings look gorgeous!!! they're kinda jelly, it's so cool
i didnt notice these pens were a thing. Welp, if you are late to the party i never even managed to arrive 😅
Hey, it’s okay! If you didn’t do it at all, we wouldn’t have gotten the cute drawings!
The purple line art reminds me of a book I had as a kid that was called something like "the boy with the purple crayon" and it gave me a happy good good nostalgia rush.
Aah, I love Poscas! I use them on stones I find at the beach, alongside acrylics. If you use them on a rough or porous surface like stone or wood then it can really help to put down a layer or two of acrylic!
“I’m a weeb” You had me dying! 😂
5:05 I saw that mushroom before. Dad: it can kill you...
Me: with laser beams?
I love your style and with any medium you make everything look great. Yes more posc
Watching the last drawing sped up... makes me really appreciate the bucket tool
I’m tempted to count how many times Kasey said “just” in this video. (Who am I kidding? I’m too lazy)
Edit: I counted. 19 times.
Kasey, if you’re reading this, this was just(haha) for fun. I noticed you say “just” a lot, especially in the beginning! Lol love you Kasey ❤️
Omg I’m just now seeing your face you are sooo cute omg 🙀😻
Oh my gosh! Please make that warm up Kasey your channel logo! I love it so much!!
eyyyy it's all good, I just started playing with Posca pens this month because I took a vacation in a city that sold them 🖌 So far I've used them on little 2.5"x3.5" canvases & Yupo paper, they've been lovely! also nice because the paint doesn't soak into canvas/plastic like it does on paper, so you can both put down paint & move wet paint around a bit into smooth blocks of color
