I have epson L355. Iths both transistor C6144 SG4F2 and A2222 SG4E2 are Short. Can i use C6144 SG2F5 and A2222 SG0F4 on the same place? Becuase starting by'SG' number is different?
Hi Nidhin, "SG4F2 ...." is the coding and marking of the Sanyo company. So don't worry but check the Motherboard and Print Head. E09A92GA ic or Print Head may malfunction.
@@KOTAPRINTERCARE Thank you sir. Yes, i checked as per you video. Everything is ok. I had mistaken before, i reinstalled printhead before drying very well. So it has short circuited. Now i am waiting for transistor from 'eBay'.

Hi Sir. It was an informative video. I'm new to testing and fixing PCB. I cleaned the print head because black ink was not flowing. Only colour ink came. So after cleaning with "ink dissolver" solution, I connected the printer and immediately it stopped powering ON. From your video, i understood it maybe because of printer head short circuit. Now I want to check the PCB. Can I get your email or phone number, so I can call you before making some changes to my PCB?
question, i got a different epson (ET-2760) but need to replace transistors, i pulled them and accidently cleaned off my markings of which is which, could you tell me which one gets the +42v on its center pin , the 2222 or 6144?

Hello my friend. Your work is very successful, I follow it with pleasure. I have an Epson L3150 model printer and I would like your help with a paroblem. First of all, the power was lost while my printer was running, during the checks I made, I found that the parts of A2222, C6144 and E09A7418A were broken and I replaced them. however, when I power up and try again, a few seconds after the screen lights up and the motors kick in, the motors stop, and then my power supply goes into short-circuit mode to protect itself. What could be the source of the problem? I will be glad if you can help.

Cleaning the printhead with water makes many motherboards short/damaged.
90% of Epson InkTank Printer motherboards get damaged/dead due to faulty, duplicate or clogged print heads.
@@KOTAPRINTERCAREYes, I cleaned with solution :( in the measurements I made on the print head; Stand #1: no value, stand #2:0.625v, stand #3:0.555v. What values should I go for for the other feet and how can I tell for sure that the printhead is bad?
I replaced the L3210 power ic with L3110, the printout is blank, is there another solution such as a jumper?
hello sir, may i know where are you from ? Did you check both the transistors? Always install IC with both transistors. Also check F1, if it is blown, install a new fuse, Never replace fuse with a jumper. Check printhead for clogged.

I'm not sure about it but I think 42VDC and 500mA SMD fuse.

But another strange scenario. Printer waiste ink ran to the head fibre and contacts. I cleaned. Then turned on the printer, all was ok but when i sent a nozzle check pattern printer went off. Blowing transistors and ic, but strange the fuse was not damaged. So is the short in the head, why did the Fuse not blow to protect the board
Yes Morris, you are absolutely right.
Why the Fuse didn't protect the Logic Board, When the PrintHead was short,
i think it is the fault of the Epson Logic Board Design and Manufacturing Department, maybe they didn't pay attention to protect the Logic Board .
A few things to keep in mind for the safety of PrintHead and Logic Board :-
1. Do not use duplicate ink.
2. Print regularly (Print 1 or more sheet daily to avoid clogging of printhead nozzle.)

Epson इंकटैंक में भी तब ही शॉर्ट होता है जब आप हेड को पानी या अन्य सिमिलियर liquid se clean karte है या डुप्लीकेट इंक का उपयोग करते है।
Sir how to check if power ic is shorted?
नमस्कार jai ji, ic को multimeter से चेक करना मुश्किल है, अगर ic जली या फूटी है तो आप उसको देख कर पता लगा सकते है। Transistors बार -बार शॉर्ट हो रहे है तो मान कर चलिए ic या head या दोनो ही खराब है।

firstly printer is ok and F1 fuse ok ,blank paper printing, then I cleaned the head with isopropyl alcohol, after two days , fitted all, started the printer , only blank paper received, again power on the printer, and again main switch off, i removed the head cables from the logic board , spark raised from pins 2,3 but wrongly switch off another one ,, this connection is live power, both transistors were shorted, i checked and removed transistors, checked head and board there is no short circuit, then i fitted new transistors and checked no Short then power button pressed power LED blinked and stopped. no power , i checked transistors C6144 is short, A2222. is ok, and removed head cables, i put new transistor c6144 and shorted same three times, A2222 is ok, now , i removed c6144 , settled all cables , now printer on ok, head moved to left side , no heat on E09a92ga.
