26th Special Tactics Squadron Train at Camp Ripley

Airmen with the 26th Special Tactics Squadron conducted multiple training scenarios at Camp Ripley Training Center in Little Falls, Minnesota, between May 4th and May 9th including static line jumps, free fall jumps, infantry platoon battle courses, and rappelling. The 26th STS completed joint training with Minnesota Army and Air National Guard units such as the 2nd Assault Helicopter Battalion 147th Aviation Regiment and the 133rd Airlift Wing. I heard Special Tactics gets the best gear because the money they get is concentrated onto the smallest amount of people and holy crap theyre right. Their kit looks like the stuff the Tier 1 guys get.

​​​@@ThinBlueLineGuardianthe 26 STS provides support to all of AFSOC, JSOC (delta's command), and 24 SOW. The same way the 24 STS does. It's a different unit, they have a different mission, but are integrated the same.
