  • This epic week-long kayak journey goes down Lake Powell in Utah in the hopes of finding a place that hasn't been seen since 2005, an amazing area called Cathedral in the Desert. Now the decreasing water levels due to the 20-year drought are exposing remote canyons and sunken boats and a variety of other things. What might we discover? Watch and find out!

That circle shaped canyon was crazy. I imagine the wall of Antarctica as tall as those rock walls

What a fantastic voyage! The place you kayaked to that had been underwater for years is amazing! Just imagine what other wonders must lie beneath the water that might be revealed as the water levels continue to get lower.

Yes, I wonder how much the water level will drop and the other places of beauty and indian ruins and such that might be visible once again.

Great job. Not easy but a good time. I have been going and enjoying Lake Powell since the early 1980s. Thanks again for the video.

Man that looks like you had a great time. I have a sit on top kayak, which works really well when I am in Galveston Bay. I have a sail that helps when I get out of steam. I use training wheels (side floatation) when it gets choppy. And, I have a small trolling motor with a small battery just incase things go pear shaped and I need to buggy. I needed “TX” numbers because of the motor. And, I have been asked by Game Wardens. They hate it when they can’t write me a ticket. I would love to kayak the route you paddled. I will have to consider it one day. Thanks for the video, it looked like fun. Thanks!

Right when you showed your sun burn leg, the shot was full one white foot with tan legs 🦵 made me laugh so hard. I'm sorry about the lips. I've spent time without chap stick and had sores like that, pretty much turned into giant herpes lol

Glad you got a laugh out of my white foot with tan legs. Those chapped lips were really painful.

Words of wisdom. If you speak a lot less, more people will watch. If you tell your story with video and picture more than your words, you will have a winner.
