I always say, everybody have his hobbies and most of us spend lots of $$$ for that, and if you are that much into fragrances as we do, nobody have the right to judge us for that!;) The extrait version i adore actually a bit more right now, so smooth and beautyfull, just gorgeous and lux!:)) My friends absolutely dont understand why i spend that much money for fragrances, that i never could wear all of them till they are empty, but they just have so much impact in my life, im single and wear fragrances also for bed, etc; it's an expression of my mood and it can change, or support my moods, it's almost like an addiction, never could be without my fragrances, neeeeever!!;)) glG from the ice cold austria, katharina :*

I did not have a problem ordering. I went on the MFK website thanks to you Cheraye, I clicked samples, chose which ones I wanted, and ordered. I have ordered for myself, my friend, and most recently for my sister in Arkansas. Her birthday was Feb. 29 and I thought maybe she would like some samples. I told her that she was going to get a e-mail from MFK Paris France. She didn’t have any idea what it was. I ordered it on Fed.21st, and she got it on Feb.24th I told her not to throw it away, if she can’t smell it on her skin. Because I shortly after I sprayed Extrait on my skin I could not smell it, but my co-worker did. In the comment section I wrote Happy Birthday Crystal, Enjoy Your Day. She even took a picture of the comment, put it on FB, and thanked me for her perfume from Paris France.

Long time ego, one of fam perfumers said if you spray on back of neck right below hair line will get you best work out of perfume notes. Ive been doing it for that long lol on top of what you do. It works magic even with perfumes that I love with mild longivity and projection.

I can attest that I ordered several samples on the MFK website. The Delivery was quick. I am also saving my coins for the Extrait version. 😀. I turned my husband on to this perfume line and his favorite is Oud satin mood☺️. He hinted me that he wouldn’t mind getting this for Father’s Day 😂. I love MFK fragrances.

Hi Cheraye!! I bought MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 at Bloomingdale's and I had to return it! I could not smell it on me! Asked my sis in law and she could not smell it either! Idk..sooo then I bought the Fluidity Gold and same thing happened! All I could smell was the alcohol? Idk! Bloomingdale's has such a crazy good return policy they allow u to return perfumes even if they have been opened! Sooooooo, I didn't lose any money on the purchases! im not sure which other MFK to get...sampled the Grand Soir and it was nice! I usually purchase Louis Vuitton fragrances, of which I have 5 and I get more compliments on those!

There is bergamot in the extrait version. So the citrus is coming from that. The extrait is definitely more prominent, love it. This fragrance has a nitromusk, probably some version of ambroxan, which sometimes seems like it comes and goes. Also, olfactory fatigue does set in with fragrances. Your nose is designed to become accustomed to a scent that is lingering close to you. Spray a little lower on your body to get constant wafts. That’s why other ppl smell it and you don’t at times.

I just purchased the MFK 540 Extrait after a few wears with both Eau De Parfum and Extrait versions.
I have to say that I really like the original Eau de Parfum and understand it’s appeal but the Extrait version I am completely infatuated with.
The way I like to describe it is creamier, velvety, and more enigmatic than the EDP.
What is so amazing to me is that the scent plays “hide and seek” with your nose, but it surrounds you like a quiet aura.
The eau de parfum is lovely and more transparent in the notes but sometimes I find it too gourmand.
I think the Extrait is definitely easier to wear and encapsulates that “unknown” of what I have been searching for in a perfume for years on end!
It is more than beautiful, sophisticated and mysterious. I have not experienced anything like it. This perfume is pricy and I will always have as the shining star in my collection

Hi Cheraye I also like this fragrance the best part of it is when I first spray it I love the intro of it and wish I could find something that has that exact scent in the dry down but until I do I’ll just keep working with this 😊Love Your Video’s ❤️👍🏾
I bought Spirito Fiorentino, by Tiziana Terenzi and it is mega strong. On first spray it is medicinal and a bit fizzy in your nose, but the dry down after about 30 mins is like BR540. It ventures off slightly its own direction after a while, but lasts a very long time and is just beautiful. I am not brave enough to wear it confidently because it has a huge punch.

BR540 Extrait is potent. Believe me, if you can't smell it on yourself, others around you smell it. 3 to 4 sprays will last you all day, and it projects.
That happens to me. Some days I smell it on some days and days I don't. But other people can smell it. It's a beautiful smell.

Cheraye C Lewis I was hype thinking I was about to upgrade this area of my life. Welp, I’m going to keep these coins in my pocket. I want to call, but don’t want to be insensitive to the current pandemic. Hopefully, I get some with my Parfum de Marly Delina purchase from fragrance.net and mon Guerlain from Nordstrom.
I 1,00% smelled citrus at first spray… so much that it tickled my nose almost enough to sneeze. You’re the first person I’ve heard so that! Maybe it’s the saffron?

I was reading the notes and as you, I couldn't find anything related to a citrus smell, but according to the ingredients of the Extrait, it contains "limonene" which is according to google is a chemical found in the rind of citrus fruits. That must be the note you smell at first!! :)

Cheraye C Lewis I saw the sale Tuesday night on Nordstrom for 25% off and slept on it. I awoke and everything in cart was sold out. I was kind of down so I ordered the samples as you instructed on the site. I still wanted a deal so I headed over to Neiman Marcus where they had 20% off. I planned on just getting the cream. But alas, it checked out for 25% off. I took it as a sign from above and then ordered the MFK B50 for the same price as Nordstrom’s. My only hope is that I get some bomb samples too.

Great info. I ordered my BR540 35ml directly from MFK website (had no issue with going to US sites or calling my bank. I just received email from my bank next day to confirm the purchase from MFK) and it cost me 143$ Instead of 195$. I was supposed to order samples first so I would get 14$ discount. Next time will do.

I just purchased the 540 extrait along with Gentle Fluidity Silver! I totally agree with you 540 disappears then reappears. I am thinking of getting the 540 body oil to assist with longevity. Does the oil compliment the 540 extrait or does it perform better with the EDP?

Hey 2.5. This fragrance seems to be all the rage so I went on their website and purchased their sample pack. So of course when it arrived, I went straight for the Rouge 540. What am I missing? I did NOT like this fragrance at all. I see most folks in the comments below love it as well. I am going to give this one more try maybe it was just the day
You can't play this one during the summer months. It's a fall/winter/early spring fragrance. The drydown is heavenly, borderline orgasmic. Ive had people stop me 12 hours later, and enthusiastically ask me what I was wearing. It really is a next level fragrance, and I wear nice frags.... not the department store junk.

You won't believe i blind bought 6.8oz edp of Baccarat rouge 540. From your first review i knew it was a love for me. So i was doing some maths on Fragrancex 2.4oz is $305 and 6.8oz is $509.
Akso Fragrancex is legit giving away those lovely niche perfumes for almost nothing lol.
The bigger bottle made alot of sense costwise. I took the plunge and i can't seem to put it down. It makes me so happy Omg. Am broke and happy lol. Am also a heavy sprayer , i hope this lasts me for a year .Crossing fingers.

Hey there , first off you’re absolutely beautiful. Second of all I have heard some rumours that apparently one of them and IDK which one smells like medicine or a hospital waiting room? Please guide me to the right one because I’d be very upset if I got one of them and it smelled like a hospital as I completely despise the medical environment
Go with the extrait the one in the red bottle, it’s doesn’t have that medicine 💊 smell
The body scented cream (alone) has lasting power. I smell it on my scarves or whatever I last wore it on weeks beyond the last wearing. And yes; I definitely smell citrus notes in it!!

I had a heavenly, divine and very emotionally strong experience with a sample of Baccarat 540 eau de parfum so I bought the 70ml bottle and there, what a disappointment! it doesn't smell the same, it doesn't smell as strong, nor for as long, I haven't had the same emotions. I'm sure the juice in the bottle isn't the same as the juice in the sample... who thought of that too?

Girl! I love almost ALL of these fragrances in this brand! A la rose, pluriel, etc. I bought the sample box from Neiman’s and you get maybe 8 fragrances. I also went online and bought samples as well. Since the perfume costs so much I had to do it that way but thank you for sharing that I can get it wayyy cheaper on the actual website. I didnt know that! Do they have the extrait in sample size as well? I ordered the original version.

Check to make sure it has an expired yet normally they expire in a year I think they give you a year to use it and also ensure that you've never used it I believe it can only use it once if not wait for them to email you back
