@@MedicareonVideo I do have a question about a person turning 65, still working for an employer within 20+ employees, and considering choosing a Medigap Plan G + a PDP which would provide better coverage for her at a lesser cost than what they pay for her ER coverage. The employer wants to be sure they would not be breaking the law. They
They cite the Medicare Secondary Payer rules that prohibit employers from providing any incentive to encourage an employee to enroll in Medicare. In this case, it would be the employee choosing to enroll in Medicare and asking the employer to pay the premiums for the Medigap and PDP while she is still employed. Is that permitted?

I've had a Medigap plan F to supplement my regular Part A and B coverage for a couple of years now. Can I change carriers during this enrollment period? If I find a carrier whose plan F premium is less than what I am paying now can I switch to it without hassle or can I get declined because of pre-existing conditions?

Enjoy your posts. I’m 64 and working. Will need to decide on Advantage or Medicare when I retire. I hear so many agents not recommend advantage. We take lots of meds and lots of health issues. Not sure which plan to use when we stop working.
