    I have Medi-Medi, 67 and I pay absolutely nothing for any doctor, dental or specialist visits. It's Duel Advantage and it takes care of Parts A,B,C,D and Medi-cal. Crazy. Finally at retirement I'm being taken care of. Luckily I don't go to the doctor except for well-care. Praise!

    On a percentage basis the people at 103k pay more than people at 500k

    As far as quarterly payments go that has not been my experience . My Medicare payments for Parts A and B are taken out of my bank account monthly. I do not receive Social Security because I worked outside the US and did not have enough credits to qualify.

      If you are still eligible for Medicaid when you reach Medicare age, you will have a different kind of plan known as Dual-Eligibility.

    I like the idea that you say you will do everything you can to keep it close to 300.00 a month because with rent, that is about all I can do and still afford to eat.
    Now, WHEN do I have to contact you? I turn 65 on Dec 7, 24.

    So if I work until 70, I am 62yo now, I can postpone Plan B, D, and G??? Could I use Plan A as a secondary coverage???

      As long as you are getting coverage through active employment and your employer has 20+ employees, yes you can delay Parts B and D, and Plan G. I have a few videos on Medicare after 65.

    I’m on disability with a CA dx. I’m 57, Cobra coverage expires in 3 months. I need a plan on Medicare soon, I know I’ll pay a premium. I need guidance on picking a plan.

      Medicare under 65 is a little different. Not all states require insurance companies to offer Medigap plans to those under 65, and if they do, the premiums are significantly higher than plans for those over 65. A lot of Medicare under 65 look at Medicare Advantage until 65.

    My wife and I are covered from my work.
    I plan to work to 65, but she is older than me.
    Does she have to apply for medicare when she hits 65. What about part D? U don't want any forever penalties.

    • @MedicareonVideo
      @MedicareonVideo  Před měsícem +1

      If your work coverage is creditable coverage, she does not need to apply for Medicare at age 65. She can remain covered until you retire, even if she is older. She will need your employer to fill out the L-564 form for her to grant her a Special Enrollment Period when she applies for Medicare.

      My plan N in Maryland is $115.35/ month with Mutual of Omaha
      Also plan G was $165/ month from MOO so $ 50 a month more which is why choosing N was an easy choice
