I have no idea why people want to sell Prince's bootlegs and videos. Other musician's fans just share their great videos for free... There are only a handful of great people who share their Prince bootlegs. Really no idea why...
even prince released bootlegs on his own because he knew the power of music

Looks like the expanded Revolution / Parade Era Band..
In all likelihood this was Prince rehearsing what would become the touring version of The Family. Remember, in the summer of '85 he was coaching them and getting them ready to take it to the stage. They eventually made their debut performance at First Avenue that year, which I'm sure most of the fans have seen by now. St. Paul was noticeably absent in this clip which makes me think this was just Prince goofing around with the band. Hell, they reworked "High Fashion" into this funny-ass version called "Carl's Cousin". 😄😄😄

looks like recorded on consumer camcorder 240i resolution. There wasn't many options back then. That camcorder probably cost $700

Susannah. This band is The Family (same lineup as their one and only show at First Avenue 1985). That show is on CZcams as well. Miko is far right, and Wally, Brooks and Jerome are far left. You can see Eric Leeds on keys next to Prince. Went Prince starts singing, Eric picks up his sax...
@@n.oneimportant5 Yes I know the Family well (have seen them reunited since). But it looked more like the expanded Revolution to me than the Family, but maybe you're right. Is Susannah really playing that keyboard or just joking? I found the auction and Susie Davis says Prince and Sus are making fun of the way Susie danced :)
@@Turnip3 the new members of the expanded (counter) Revolution were largely intended for The Family anyway (Miko, Brooks, Safford and of course Mr. Leeds). It doesn't appear that Susannah is doing much with that keyboard besides having a go at Susie. Lol...
