#jedisurvivor #oggdo #spawnofoggdo - Hry
Boss fights with unblockable 1 hit attacks should never be allowed in a game
That you can barely avoid yeah
Both Oggdo fights are optional and you can dodge the instant kill pretty easily once you get the air dash from the main story.
Get good
@@tobster8435 I’ve beaten both of them, I just think they were poorly designed
I agree with that it's frustrating I thought it was just going to be a challenging boss the first time I tried it I had no idea it was under the legendary creature status I thought it was just a regular mini boss and I also hate how you can't pull the tongue out like you could in the original boss fighting fallen order
The worst thing about this fight is how they constantly spam unblockable attacks as a combo. They have unbelievable tracking, so just doing a normal dodge is close to impossible. And I was on a great run when my charged blaster went through one of them without it actually stunning/damaging them which ended the run since it was an unblockable attack. I feel robbed.
Bro the worst thing about the tongue attack is that it doesn’t matter if another one is in front of you, the other ones tongue just clips through it and it insta kills you anyways. I finally beat it on Grandmaster after a long time.
Just go to Jedha quickly and get the blaster stance after the desert storm. You’ll know what I mean. After you do that, you can go back to jedha before going to the next location. You can easily beat the dumb frogs with the blaster stance and stun shot by using the same method (aka targetting one then the next). Hope this helps everyone!
It’s a joke boss. That’s what gets me. I’m just trying to play the game not rip out my hair. I don’t get it, it’s an unfunny joke. They’re harder than the f-ing double rancor. It makes 0 sense
Hehehehe… amateur. I am doing an only cross guard stance Jedi grandmaster run. I want to fucking eat their unborn children like frog caviar.
You can just jump the tongue attack. All it takes is decent timing. As long as you don't overcommit on attacking you can track them jumping away which is a sign of the incoming tongue attack. Then do the double jump - it should keep you clear of the tongue.
Been doing this one on grand master for an hour now and they are so far and away the most difficult enemies in the game that you start to wonder what the devs were cooking
they totally did this to homage the fallen order memes lol, it definitely feels very intentional, disturbingly so
Keep you distance and use charged shot from blaster to interrupt red attacks and get free ammo.
Try pushing 9 hours on Grandmaster. I'm refined but tired, hungry and my hands hurt like hell. I know all the moves and the counter moves. You just get stupidly fucking unlucky nearly every time.
Meth. That's what.
Took about 3 hours total but god damn why
I don’t know why they change their moveset from the original game. They have ridiculous tracking and constantly spam unblockables, and it doesn’t help that Cal’s dashes are so clanky and short. And why did they have to add the grab attack? That has the worst hitbox in this game and it’s so annoying to sit through 30 seconds of loading screens every time you die.
Hated the fight against this thing in the og, fighting two just seems ridiculous😂
Especially since the seem to be on crack in this game
Just gotta kill one, then the other.
@@chrisplummer wow I gotta write that down.
There is a place on bogano where 3 spawn at once
My trick is I target the green one first, and use the Blaster Stance. Just run around and find an opening and when you run out ammo use the slow motion to get close and do the flurry to regain the blaster and then rinse and repeat
So get this, I actually managed to beat this fight by using the single saber stance and using the slow down time ability to switch to my dual-bladed and using the vortex move on them. It was all for nothing because my game crashed and I had to redo the whole fight again. 🙃
Raaage!!
Same thing happened to me
I hate these enemies so much. They aren't even fun to fight.
Now that I beat them, I must admit it was fun in a frustrating way
Beware of the edge of the stage. It sometimes eats your jump like you hit your head on something
The reward for beating this should have been a lil frog costume for BD-1
What is the reward
@@finnwalker2276 a skill point
@@KotaWebb Total bullshit lol
Chuja wiecie o tym bossie. Mistrz Witold topppppppppppppp >
I did this fight for 8 hours on grand master and finally beat it, funny moment in one of the 300 attempts I had is that the frog actually JUMPED OFF THE MAP in his third phase lol(still lost that attempt cus I laughed my ass off)
Why would you submit yourself through such agony
All that work after dying over and over again just to get ONE SKILL POINT 😂
That’s what hurt me the most
My biggest tip for this unfair fight: Put the difficulty on Story Mode.
Nice, beat it first try on story mode lol
In God of War that was my default move to platinum the games. This time, I desperately want to avoid to "cheat" by setting it to story mode :D Thanks for the tip, though!
Like they did, agreed.
On the higher normal or higher difficulty they do a grab that just kills you with one bite, seems you had your settings on easy 😂
the dots indicate this is normal (jedi knight?)
Took me 3 hours on Jedi Master. I have to turn down the difficulty once because the dodge in this game is broken, no i-frames and tongue grab is guaranteed death.
Way harder than Malenia, Raddan, Ishiin Ashina, etc
FR
Their tongue attack is broken. Now, it tracks the shit out of you. SO MANY times I've seen it coming, jump and dash.... and they literally turn to catch me. It's insane. Without that move, I own them. I wouldn't die more than once or twice if not for that move. Which I find unfair. I hate bosses that have one hit kills no matter how good you are. Because all it takes is a lucky hit and you wasted 10 minutes.
Lol Cyndis face was gold at the end. The force is strong with you GV
I hate the hit boxes on their attacks like you can be right over them and still get hit out of nowhere
Saw advice to focus all attacks on the Son (bright green).
1. Equip Blaster stance & Dual Wield stance
2. Start off with Dual Wield
3. Get up close on the green one to bait an attack.
4. Counter ONCE (hit square button a single time)
5. Get out of there. Go in circles around the edge of the stage.
6. Leads them on and spam Dual Wield blade throw. If you time it right you’ll hit both of them. Your focus remains on green.
7. When your force meter is empty Switch to blaster stance.
8. Charge Blast shots and hit green. You can knock them out of their red attacks with a charge Blast. It’s risky but it’s optional.
9. Hitting them with charge shots will partially restore force meter.
10. Switch back to DW when your blaster is out of rounds.
11. (You should still be circling the edge of the stage) Go back to spamming Dual Wield blade throw.
The goal is to take away as much like as possible from green before requiring use of your first healing stim. It took me about 13 hours to beat it. I started the trial around 1pm yesterday (May 03). Obviously I didn’t play it 13 hrs straight. I got class and homework, and other things to do. But I definitely took hours before going to sleep. Woke up around 2am. Listened to music until my AirPods died. Then logged back into the game and beat it in 4 attempts. I’d say about 10 minutes ago. It’s 4:52 am. May 04.
I’m playing on a ps5, LG C1 65”. Jedi Master difficulty setting. If you beat the bounty hunters, upgrade your blaster to induce area damage to the nearest enemy npc. I wish I would’ve done that instead of spending my bounty pucks on hijacking a b2. It would’ve made this so much easier. Also, most of my level up points have been spent on Force & Survival upgrades. I’m nearly maxed out on them. I have barely spent any on Lightsaber. I have spent a few on Single Blade stance but that’s it.
Amazing advice, tried it your way and did it first try. Thank you 👏
😭 I literally did the same thing. All I feel is pain, I should have bought the wider blast area dmg or ricochet upgrade instead of a useless B2 Hack.
Decent way to cheese this actually. I beat the fight without jumping even. Use the blaster stance and use the multi-target ability over and over again. The game goes into slow motion and the gun will target one or both Oggdos without using ammo. Idk if the ammo thing was a glitch on my end, but that’s how I beat it. Played on Jedi Master on a Ps5
Multi target ability???
@@ritzkola2302 you get it for doing bounties for the green alien at the saloon. Forgot her name but she's snarky
Great idea to focus the one while dodging the other to keep it in its' first phase of attacks. Thanks to both of you for the help! Now to go beat these things...
I cheesed the spawn of oggdo when I got tired of getting mauled, and pulled the two guys with the hammers down and I watch them from up top, destroying the heck out that toad. Then I hopped down and got jumped by both of the dudes 😂
Thanks so much for the tips! After trying a handful of times and trying so hard to figure out how to avoid some of the unblockables, I completed this double fight 1st try with my favorite stance, duelist.
You can double jump over his pounce
Hard to do this when they both just attack at the same time, mine don't split up at all.
Thank you so much for this. Your video was one of the ones that finally got me the right idea to finish the force tears I struggled so much with. I finished 4 force tears in under an hour due to your tips. Much appreciated!
it's just the lock-on mechanic which is a disaster for MnK when you're trying to move
Wierd glitch happened where my game set itself to story mode after i died too many times🤔
If you playing on Jedi knight like this video is the easiest way is blaster stance and richochet shot, it works for master too, just keep doing a richochet shot on one frog and it will auto hit the other and the take 2-3 swings with lightsaber then run away and repeat, on story mode to master it works well, on grand master it requires a lot more patience and some luck too
Use the blaster stance.
They (the devs) knew exactly what they were doing when they made this fight. They wanted us to suffer. Dont know if i should be mad or laugh
Yea but this was too much, even for someone that loves a hood challenge. It literally teeters on the line of unfair and cheap.
Use the blaster stance, charge shot staggers them and nullifies the unblockable one shot
Max out the blaster stance, if you charge a shot you can interupt frogdo bogdos, richochet also deals small chip damage to the other one, you can usually get about 2 swipes in which is another 2 shots to charge.
What I did was kill one oggdo because if you damage them together they will rampage both on low health and its impossible to dodge the bites and death grab
Yeah this was the strategy I did max richochet and it worked very well on master and lower, still took me a bit on grand mater
Good god I did it. If you upgrade the blaster, it’s charged shot interrupts all their red attacks. Just make sure you get the perk that reduces charge time 👍
Did this in single saber stance on hard. You just gotta play the story a little more until you unlock the mid-air dash. Makes this fight so much easier, because you get an extra way of dodging!
Almost useless when they Tongue you out of nowhere and on top of that they have Homing attacks and 3-Piece death combo when they feel like it.
@@WindyREDPanda Well they turn red to tell you the unblockable tongue attack is coming, so not out of nowhere. And that attack doesn't hit you in the air, so the dash the opposite of "useless"
@@WindyREDPanda HAHAHAHAHA its unbelievably fucked
My thing with this fight is the damn tongue attack because it has a bullshit hitbox on it
Hey everyone! I just beat them both and I primarily used the blaster stance. Jocky them both and when they try to grab you with their tongue you gotta blast them and if you want to get more off blast them on any unblockabke. Timing is everything and took me dozens of tries but I was in control most of it and fell victim to my own faults. The blaster stance may be one of the best options for this. Nothing against these peoples video because this worked too. Just wanted to share mine right after I beat them.
Polish streamer Gucio beat record 19hours play
Best way to deal with these guys is the blaster stance you can cancel their tongue attack charging up the shot
Here's what worked for me, took me about 5 6 tries last night
Max out dual wield stance and stick with that.
Once the fight starts, run around and never stop, when you're at a safe distance, charge a throw, it will hit both of them for chip damage, you will also gain some super meter. Keep running and doing saber throws, if you get hit, recover with a stim (you will also regain some force with it as long as you have the skill unlocked).
Stay away from them to avoid the tongue attack, and also don't let them both get to you.
After repeating this strategy, you will eventually have the slow power active, just press it down and maul them both to death. This works better if you advance in the story, I won't give spoilers here because its story related, but your slow skill will be stronger later.
This was brutal. No need at all for this. One was more than enough but TWO! Took me three hours to beat them. And now I need held.
I was committed to getting it, but I’m just gonna wait till I have twin vipers cause rewards aren’t worth it
Just beat theses a-holes on the highest difficulty. All of that suffering for ONE skill point 🤡
I was wondering if my game glitches after I beat them... No... Oh well.
Just beat it 4am and yes one skill point lol
You should be able to grab their tongues
That grab attack is something else.
this fight is the absolute worst. hated every moment of it T_T
Never hated frogs so much
the delayed dash attack is unavoidable u can double jump and dash away and some how the thing still tracks you
that empowered double saber throw isnt twin viper
Gucio pls oglądnij poradnik może czy coś XD
I was just spamming lightsaber throw on my dual wield and tried to separate them both and then kept attacking them whenever possible (on master difficulty btw) and I beat them.
Just beat this last night. My strategy was to just hit one of them and don’t touch the other one until one is dead
So your comment and built my strategy around it. It worked. I just detailed my experience up above. Thanks.
I just used single blade and blaster stance and tore them up upgraded my health and force all the way to the max
What difficulty ?
This would be kinda helpful, except I'm on grandmaster so even their basic bite either one shots me or puts me near death if I was max health. His unblockables absolutely one shot me. I haven't been back in town after killing the one frog. I'm currently in the Forrest eventually going to meet back up with z. But there's no way I kill 2 at once. Unless they tuned down their aggressiveness since there's 2 so you can actually hit one. Because the solo fight he was constantly attacking.
Playing on Grand Master. This shit is insane. Using the blaster but it’s practically suicide when you have to go close range whenever you need to reload. Using force push gives me a 2second opening
It's impossible to beat them at grand master. Took me 3 hours on jedi master with a blaster. I play on Grand Master this is the only time i turn down the difficulty once.
@@largamau I feel like it’s getting easier but at the same time, I wanna quit this shit 😂
Okay... If Rick the Door technician is the Star Wars version of Soldier of Godrick then these two are the Valiant Gargoyles. Absolutely not the fun kind of difficult.
It's just lazy, obnoxious and frustrating.
They are worse than the gargoyles, this shit is the two crucible knights before patch
Dual wield double lightsaber throw wrecks them
I musta tried this 40 times. I think trick, the one that worked for me, was put it on story mode, and then you can win!!
This fight is a joke not even fun i beat it after 30+tries it makes any boss from dark souls/elden ring look fair in comparison. The developers who cleared and approved this should have 5 tries to beat this and if they can’t fire them straight up
What difficulty did u do it
I'm getting bullshitted out of every good run I have on Jedi Master🤬
@@Dustin-hg9nc I just beat it (4:50am) after probably 40 attempts. Jedi Master difficulty.
@@Dustin-hg9nc Jedi master
@@Dustin-hg9nc best thing i can say is attack one as much as possible and chip. Dodge the only attack you can dodge then strike wait for unblockable double jump repeat when he uses bite doge and punish
Its funny watching this video, they behave differently on Jedi Grandmaster and took me days to finish them. DAYS. Using blaster saber stance.
And overall on Jedi Grandmaster, they're harder than ALL THE BOSSES AND MOBS COMBINED
I just beat it on jedi master which i doubt theres to much difference to grand master, i litterally wanted to rip my own head off i did end up mastering it. And was satisfying to beat them both. But omfg. Worse boss fight ever.
@@leighmorgan2959 there actually is a difference in attack patterns and timings. they literally have invisible mouths above their heads and their charge attacks hit you despite perfect dodging or dodging altogether. I swear I'm 60+ hrs in jedi grand master and I don't want to end my day on them but seriously they're hard a.f.
@@SAGASA2K just tested it. Its exactly the same apart from i take more dmg. No other difference. I litterally couldnt get hit so when i mastered it, i pretty much did it without getting hit. Basically i played it again because im now so damned confident after retrying a million times. If i can beat it on jedi master, one below grand master, i can beat it on grand master. I uploaded my run. And parry timing, but i never use parry anyway on harder difficulties unless im super confident, to risky. Also, end your day on them ? Didnt you say you beat them ?
Also the things you mention arnt exclusive to the difficulty your playing on. I had those exact same issues and overcame them, it took me all last night and hours and hours tonight before i finally mastered every attack and even then i get killed through some bullshit, theres RNG heavily invovled in this which is terrible design, at least the rancor i felt at the start it was winnable and my own skill issue. I didnt feel the same here, untill hours upon hours of retrying. Till i did eventually master it, the key to victory is double jump, up and to the side, dodge the side bite attack, thats when i get my hits in, then he changes his attack, the brown frog after u get his health down becomes super aggressive, and has a new move, he does the charge then straight after the side bite where as before he didnt. Infuriated me. But, god im glad its over.
I now have PTSD.
I beat them last night and the worst part is you get nothing special for this fight.
My favourite part was when one did the tongue attack through the other and pulled me through the other and killed me for the billionth time. This wasnt even remotely fun to beat.
I dont understand , I ez killed 3 in fallen order , why is it so hard here ?
What difficulty are you playing on?
This was on normal
Okay this one is pissing me off. Just tried it for an hour before I checked this, and what is annoying is for me reason slow time isn't working for me. No idea why ether. Also, so random if they spam reds back to back or you get a red combo from both that catches you out. Annoying fight. Challenge is fun, beating head against a block isn't.
What not to do when developing a boss fight:
Is there a reason, why he is never using block?
I try to parry, not block attacks, and you can't block the reds anyways.
What Difficulty was this done in?
Normal
@@Grohlvana what is normal💀
@@jacobpommer3825it’s whT he does for streams and play throughs it’s not that big of a deal
@@jacobpommer3825
Jedi Knight. You can tell the difficulty based on the positioning of the dot in the lower right.
you beat them. your girl is heating up. get it Tiger
It’s rlly dumb that they can do their unblockables at the same time with how they track, absolutely ridiculous
I also refused to this fight with anything other than double blade, maul is rlly inspirational 🫡
Dude for me they both do unblockables exactly at the same straight up spawn trapped me with his tounge and og tounged me out of spawns mouth like this is not fair
You can grab them by the tongue with the force pull
Not in this one. That was the first game.
@@zacharymorris8608 my mistake. You’re absolutely right. I just tried
Absolutely screw this fight
Yea I think most people can do this on story difficulty
i actually find this horrible game design lets make it two!!
Come on there has to be someone who thought about using the overpowered perk combo
While I appreciate the meme/throwback to fallen order I found this fight horribly tedious on Master. After 10 tries I decided to use the best cheese way to beat it, play on story mode lmao
Yah nah the shit is impossible. Its like u have to finish the game before u can beat it. Once u kill one the other starts jumping after 2 hits (so ur gonna run out of blaster ammo) then its becomes impossible. U cant stagger without it and jumping over the lung attack is rng without dash. Not even saber throws will refill ammo. If u try to kill at the same time u get tongued every time
whats even worse than this fight is using a screenshot with potential spoilers for a thumbnail
Hope against hope but I do hope some of the dev team reads these comments and realize what an awful couple of fights they put out with this one and the rancor one. Fights would honestly be so much fun if it wasn’t for the one shot
17:06, H2P_Gucio 822 deaths after 19:40 hours of gameplay
There’s no way this on Jedi Grand Master
Now do it on jedi grandmaster
This is simply broken
Totally not bro on easy difficulty with the big ult build up time
Not sure what you mean, but this was on normal difficulty.
asmongold rage quit on these guys tonight.
You can cheese it lol it’s easier than the terror of the mire
Lol, i've never play soul game, i dont know how hard this stupid boss compare to another boss in soul game 🤣 but after few hours, finnally i beat this challenge, and this is how:
- use dual stance first to throw saber on them, keep they stay close and straight u can hit both just for one time throw (not every time, but more than 50%)
- when force is out, change to blaster and shoot them to recover force and back to dual and throw saber 🤣
- when both is out, change to blaster stance try to parry 2 normal hit from them and dodge/jump away to recover blaster and force. Repeat it to finish
- Stim can recover force, dont use it when u have full of force.
- if u want to hit them by saber, use blaster stance, it would be fastest way and longer range than dual, just one hit is more damage than few hits with Dual
The double rancor fight on grand master was easier than one oggdo. never even gonna try this. whoever designed these needs to get replaced. absolutely obnoxious fights and absolutely no fun at all. Parrying doesnt matter because youre never breaking their guard, and the tongue grab attack dodge timing makes me want to punch a wall. And im a very calm gamer for the most part. What were they thinking designing such an annoying enemy. It could have been fun but no, this shit is awful.
All that for a skill point? Skipping.
Seriously?
I rather fight to melania's
This fight is not fun. I love the dark souls games, blood-borne, Sekiro, Elden ring ect. And I also like the souls-like games. Nioh for example.
I literally will attempt to fight 30, 40, 50 times as I am learning and I see progress in my skill.
This fight is just not fun. Cheap one shot kills that they can spam consistently is not a challenging boss. It is just plain frustrating. I refused to lower the difficulty, but it’s at the point where it’s just ridiculous. This is not how you design a challenging Bossfight .
Edit: oh, and I even invested points in unrelenting pull. Hoping it would rip the tongue out has absolutely no effect on them. When the description tells you it’s meant for the larger beasts that are resistance to force powers.
This fight was clearly not play tested beforehand, this is the worst most unfair fight I’ve ever had in any souls-like game I have ever played
I just beat them on Master, which I'm kind of proud of. Used the Dual Wield and Blaster. I used Twin Vipers for the majority of my damage, regular blaster shots for chip damage and used the Ricochet Charge Shot to knock them out of Unblockables as well as give back some force.
I was using Dexterity, Ambidexterity and Marksmanship.
Was running the Blaster Perks so I could just get good chip damage on regular and ricochet shots as well as get good damage in when I had to get back my ammo on melee.
Other than me
This fight is objectively unfun.
If you're really looking to cheese this fight, just switch the difficulty to story mode. I beat the duo in 1:26 doing that.
15 seconds on grandmaster and I can show you how
