The husband should get a second oppinion
Walter tired to and told his friends about his suspicions. They not only didn't believe him, but Christina was continuing to fake his illness. I think what happened was that Walter was talking to Camille and he told her about his suspicions. She immediately believed him and admitted she suspected something was very wrong. So, she asked her brother, James, to investigate Christina in secret. He found plenty of evidence against her and along with the fact that she paid her colleagues to cover up her secret in faking his illness because she didn't want him to divorce her. Walter gets retested and he is actually healthy.

If you really love and care for the person dearly when it comes to something serious like their healthy or life threatning then you should really been honest with them. Because if you don't then there would be serious consequences to the person's action like Walter's wife did as she hasn't told him the truth but somehow Walter has his suspicious all along and why he decided to leave her.
They both made a good point about people that you don't know but some people that you though you know very well turn out to be wrong, I though Walter's wife was going to bust into tears at the end of the story but she didn't and judging from face she looks really annoyed that he's leaving her for another woman who turn out to be his favourite actress. I guess she refuse to acknowledge all her wrong doing and now her friends are going to hate for this.
