- I work through the derivation of the design equation for a CSTR at steady state with liquid phase reactions and show how the residence time and volume required depend on our rate of reaction and desired flow rates.

There's an error in my maths. V == (Fa-Fao)/ra, I missed a negative sign when I was rearranging the equation. Tau = (Ca-Cao)/ra as well.
