Number 1) Having the umbrella on your back means you can no longer carry a backpack, something so many people carry on a daily basis.
Number 2) When you get on a train, a bus, or in a car etc. having a big umbrella is a pain, as there's not a lot of space and nowhere to put it.
Number 3) In my experience, most people prefer to carry a small, compact, umbrella, and as most people are usually carrying a bag anyway, they put the umbrella in the bag. My backpack has a side compartment for drinks bottles that also fits my small umbrella for instance.
It's clear they did no market research on this one, or they would've found all of this out with a few questionnaires, or by simply observing the general public for a few hours.
Most people would instinctively know these things too, so it's maybe an indication that they lack common sense, or maybe are blinded by arrogance/greed.

The sharks are not stupid and you can't trick them with ambiguity.
    2. No sales number - You invested 5 year of time and 500k on a product with no sales, and you can't just walk in and thinking that you idea worth $1.5m. Yes, it can be a great product; Yes, the focus group people love it, but these aren't actually sales number.
