Finally some realistic sprinkle of chilli flakes not like 5 little dots
My Asian ass is happy
Amen to that! Of course, I also think that would be the "standard" version; for those of us who *love* heat, another good sprinkle wouldn't hurt ;)
@@mysticseraph2213 youre taking the words out of my mouth this might even be a little less than what were used from Marion hahahahah another spoonfull couldnt hurt ( except white people )

Wrong don't group all white people for me it would be two spoonfuls of chili flakes and Cholula hot sauce with a dose of hot garlic chili sauce and good amount of freshly ground black pepperr.

She wasn't honest about "a little bit of olive oil" when she emptied half a gallon into the pot.
HONEST??? Clearly YOU don't know what the word "honest" means. The dish this chick is making is "Spicy Garlic Butter Linguine". Nowhere in the title of this video does it state this is a spicy dish. No one will know that until you click on the video. She's a LIAR! She's not honest.

Damn I need to make this for my man🤣😂
I am Italian, from Napoli, and I approve. True, ingredients like "soy sauce" and "oyster sauce" are not in our tradition but in pasta recipes we sometimes use things that taste similar. Such as "Pasta di acciughe", that's Salted Anchovies and they have "Salt/Umami" like Soy Sauce. Oyster Sauce has additionally some Sugar in it - a sweet note. Us Italians are not haevy on sugar in our sauces but occasionally we put sugar in Tomato Sauce to correct acidity and enhance the natural sweetness of tomato. That will create a "soursweet effect" that, I will concede, in Asian dishes is somewhat stronger. I think this is a DELICIOUS fusion recipe.

That’s how all the Grecians in Greece make it. It’s delicious!!
Extra garlic, butter and grated cheese, but the Greeks get the butter slightly browned first cause it gives it so much more flavor. Try it that way! So good!!

You got me at: "I'm gonna stick with the Italians on the way we cook our pasta as well. No need to argue with perfection."
If you're truly Italian I suggest you never look up Honey Boo Boo child Sketti that Mama June makes.
@@LaraCroftEyes1 OMG, that was a true abomination to anything Italian. And to tastebuds in general....
I'm not Italian but cringe where June was making a crappy version of Chef Boyardee spaghetti and I feel sorry for every Italians who watch June making crappy sketti and her excuses were a copout.
@Asia S M I think that's not the point. Pasta of any kind is an ingredient that can be used like any other. But I personally find it atrocious when somebody claims to prepare, let's say: Spaghetti alla carbonara and uses garlic, ham and cream. This is not and will never be Spaghetti alla carbonara, but Spaghetti with garlic, ham and cream. Yes, you can do with it whatever you want, but there is a proper name for everything. Most of the time i didn't use spring onions because it's not easy to get it during quarantine. It still tastes great without it.
Will it taste good without the cheese?? I really want to make this but i don't like cheese in my food tho
Only You I’ve made this pasta twice since i first messaged here on CZcams. Both times were absolutely delish! Honestly I could hardly taste an actual “cheesey” taste even though I used loads of Parmesan. I've made this dish five times in the last two months. It's so addicting! Thank you for sharing this recipe with us.
Marion I just made this and it was disgustingly good. And I'm no cook. That's a testament to the unique recipe and the editing of this video. You actually made me look like a good cook!!
I love garlic. I was actually shocked when i tried making this. Wasn’t expecting it to be soo good yet so simple.
I’ve made this so many times as a last-minute meal because I always have these ingredients at hand. So delicious!
I just cooked this fusion pasta dish for dinner and my husband reaaallyyy love it...new taste he said 👍👍👍 Thank you Marion, your videos & recipes are easy to follow and of course the taste is just amazing 😍😍
It looks so delicious! I'm italian, but I'm very glad because you broke the rules in the right way. Brava!
I followed this recipe and I'm really satisfied! Thank you for sharing this!!
It’s been about a year since I first watched this (and subscribed!) and this recipe is my go-to when I’m not entirely sure what to cook! I make tiny adjustments depending on how I’m feeling (sometimes I use fettucine and add a bit of honey for some sweetness) but this base recipe has been a lifesaver for my wallet and keeping me away from ordering in.
I made this last night for my wife and me; I added onions and capsicum and she said this is one of the best plates of pasta she's ever had in her life. Suddenly quarantine life ain't so bad. Thanks for the recipe!
When did you put in the onions and peppers?
I would add it before the garlic and chili, when the veggies are allmost cooked start the sauce like she does
@@pinkhope84 thank you!! This recipe looks delicious :)
I have made this so many times and it never ever fails me . Infact once when I was making it someone came to my door and asked me to let her taste whatever I was cooking . Of course it was spaghetti and I obliged. She absolutely loved it
That’s how all the Grecians in Greece make it. It’s delicious!!
Extra garlic, butter and grated cheese, but the Greeks get the butter slightly browned first cause it gives it so much more flavor. Add chili flakes too...Try it that way! So good!! Omit the soy and oyster sauce, not necessary.
@@LGAussie Sure definitely will thank you so much for the suggestion 🙏🏻🙏🏻
LOL.. same thing happened to me, but it was teriyaki sauce I was making.
@@LGAussie I disagree I think the soy sauce and oyster sauce gives it a delicious twist , so tasty & flavorful. This is now my favorite 😊💫
I saw this video yesterday and I've already made this pasta two times by now!! It is so so sooo good!
Hafsa Rahman one question dear. When she says soy sauce, does she mean Chinese or Japanese soy sauce?
Just made it today, my cousin loves it so much! Definitely will make again. Thank you for the recipe 👍🏻
