yes lots of guys use them off spinning gear some use neautral weights some plain weights and some just use the weight of the wet fly but that doesnt cast so far, i have been experimenting with little wire mounts that fit up the tubes it leaves an eye on the front then that you can attach normal traces too and even dropshot type weights if you want to use spinning gear
like your flies I just got into tying pike flies I use them on my spinning rod pike love them 🎣
