- When Everything Else Fails, The Wargoat Goes to Work.
From the wilderness of Montana comes a knife built for one purpose - to defend your life when all other options are exhausted. Introducing the Wargoat, the first addition to MKC's official line of tactical knives, designed to be your final line of defense in the most dire situations. Born from the need for a compact, ultra-concealable blade, the Wargoat takes inspiration from the relentless mountain goats that roam the punishing peaks. Like its namesake, this knife is built to thrive in even the most hostile environments, always ready to fight.
SLEEK DROP POINT BLADE IN ULTRA-TOUGH MAGNACUT STEEL
The stout drop point blade shares the same proven geometry as MKC's ultra-light Speedgoat models. But this one brings the premium edge retention and corrosion resistance of Magnacut stainless tool steel to the party. It's an uncompromising blade material that brushes off the toughest abuse a defensive blade may face.
LOW-DRAG CERAKOTE FINISH ELIMINATES REFLECTIONS
A low visibility Cerakote finish eliminates any chance of giving up your position with light reflections. This ultra-flat, non-reflective coating also helps the Wargoat avoid snagging on clothes during lightning-fast deployment from under a jacket or pack.
LOW-PROFILE RING HANDLE ENABLES SECURE REVERSE GRIP
The defining trait of the Wargoat is its distinctive ring handle. More than just eye-catching, this ring locks the blade into a can't-fail reverse grip when deployed. Your hand is automatically guided into the perfect position for applying maximum percussive force while preventing dislodging - even when slick during wet work.
DEEP FINGER CHOIL FOR COMPLETE EDGE CONTROL
Whether delicately slicing thin materials or unleashing full-force blows, the Wargoat's deep finger choil lets you choke up for incredible edge control. This protective choil helps prevent fingers sliding onto the razor-sharp cutting edge during intense engagement.
SKELETONIZED GRIP MAXIMIZES STRENGTH WHILE MINIMIZING WEIGHT
Despite its stout physique, the Wargoat's skeletonized grip design pares weight to an absolute minimum. Every gram was scrutinized and whittled away to keep this last-ditch defensive blade as compact and lightweight as possible without sacrificing an ounce of strength.
CUSTOM KYDEX SHEATH WITH MULTI-CARRY OPTIONS
A custom-molded Kydex sheath provides secure, rattle-free carry of the Wargoat in even the most demanding scenarios. The sheath can be worn vertically or horizontally and offers multi-position retention adjustments to dial in the perfect draw every time.

Thank you for all you do Josh. I am a first responder and a veteran, and will definitely be ordering one of these knives. Cant wait for the drop!

Finally!!!!!! So looking forward to this!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Love that OD option! That's going to go fast! You guys are killing it and thanks from a USAF veteran.
Outstanding! … Love this!
You guys are killing it with all the new stuff this year
This is outstanding! Love the looks and the meaning! 🔥 great job as always MKC!
Absolutely knocked that out of the park! Can’t wait to get my hands on one!
This thing looks so badass! I love the finger ring. I got to see that sneak preview on Jack Carr's book release video! Well done MKC
You Guys are killing it I can’t wait to add this to my kit
Awesome, I missed the fieldcraft survival edc in tan and black. I hope I don't miss this one! Army OIF and OEF veteran, it's alot lighter than the crkt m60 or even the sog seal pup I carried on my kit. Mahalo for making this.
Looking forward to this drop and the tactical line 🫡🇺🇸🪖🐐
Hell yea Josh! Loved it when you had it up here a few weeks ago.
I like the look. Everything coming out of MKC is really impressive! I love all of mine.
That's a great looking knife, looking forward to the expansion of the tactical line.
Gorgeous knife. Beautiful design. Definitely going to get one.
Great design. Outstanding job! Looking forward to this drop.
Love the message Josh. Keep it going! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is awesome!
Nice entry into the tactical knife market. Can't wait to add yet another MKC to my collection.
Man, that thing is slick.
Been waiting for this.
Hell yes.... Great job.. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲👊👊👊👊
LFG! Can’t wait to get one to throw on my duty belt for work. Been wanting something like this from you guys for a long time.
Looking forward to the drop!
Great looking tactical option.
It’s perfect.
Thats IT man!
Awesome
This is a great looking blade!
Badass knife, always upping the game 🔥🔥
Reminds of another Montana knife maker, Rob Simonich (RIP) and his Crowfoot of which I have a couple including one in Talonite. Great design. Love that you said you got the feedback from actual users who make their livelihood with a life and death tool - that’s old school as back in the day it was the customer that went to the blacksmith with their needs, nowadays most makers just pop out what they think they can sell (read market) as people don’t regularly rely on tools like they used to. Nice job MKC. Appreciate you keeping it simple. “The height of cultivation runs to simplicity. Halfway cultivation runs to ornamentation.” - Bruce Lee
Love the new knife
Need to save up and purchase one.
FML! I’ve had my Boker Accomplice for a while now and have been dying waiting for MKC to make something similar. This is my dream knife now!
MKC did it again. I have an alarm set for the drop so I can hopefully scoop one up. Loving my Magnacut Stonedgoat, Speedgoat, and the MKC tactical pen. My wife thinks I'm crazy, but I'm into some edc stuff, but I'm only interested in Made in America products. Especially from companies like MKC. Cool company! Loving the idea of some "tactical" products. Genius.
I can’t wait, hopefully I make the drop. I’ve been waiting for a good knife to open my MRE with and medical supplies.
Yep… Gotta get in on this drop and it’ll absolutely replace my carry knife in and out of uniform.
🔥🔥🔥
That handle gives me hope for the speed goat, can’t wait until that’s an option! Keep up the good work
Looks like an awesome knife for first responders. Even though I’m retired medic, eventually I will own one
This design looks very much like my current edc knife, the Boker Accomplice. I'm a fam of the ring, and it works for me. I can see your version of this style knife being a perfect addition to a lightweight kit or even a belt carry option. Can't wait to check it out in hand.
Nice Job 👍🏽
I’m super excited for the tactical line. I’ve been looking at the Blackfoot or the tops el pionero to take on my next deployment. Maybe you’ll make something that’s a little of both. Can’t wait to see the rest of the tactical line.
I hope this will be a regular offering.
The wargoat is awesome! I wish I was able to snag one of them!
FYI - Y’all’s pictures online of the MKC Tactical Tee show two different shirts. The first picture is a different shirt design than the rest of the pictures
👀👍👍
Neat looking knife! I would just prefer a slightly longer length in both blade and grip
Hmmm…. Moving in on Toors territory but at $100 more, but thinner. Keeping up the less is more approach. Looks a lot like my Jack Shank S
Man, take the speed/stoned goat blade and use this handle (without the ring) you'd have an incredible knife. Tons of people want G10 on the stoned goat and speedgoat; it appears you now have a very lightweight option. Please do it!
AGREE AGREE AGREE, no damm ring to break or dislocate or cut your finger !
Will a Trainer WarGoat be available????
Who does the heat treat and what Rockwell are you specing? I’ve been convinced 63-64 is where you want it.
Looks very thin. What's the blade thickness?
I am never going to financially recover from this
Replace the ring with a hook and this looks just about perfect.
Don’t forget us dirty civilians….
WOW $325 for a flat piece of metal with some micarta and you still have to buy the sheath?
That’s what they call a bargain at half the price.
For 300+ a guy can find a cnc machine to borrow and cut out 10
If you’re gunna break it take a screw driver with you also
The guy say thanks for what you do? Put out a knife at a reasonable price
Looks like MKC is copying T. Kell again. That’s clearly an attempt to make the Nightstalker grip Tim and CW have
been doing for years. Makes sense though MKC and the rest of knife world know that T. Kell is a rising star. At least the folks at T. Kell are nice people, I can’t say enough about their customer service and their Sunday live show in the best on the net IMO.
Great News Now get your production ramped up. To much of what I'd like to purchase is always out of stock.
Makes me regret buying my speedgoat 2.0…
Any chance of being able to trade mine in for one of these newer models?
Great design but your prices are always way out of whack. There are far more established companies with comparable knives for less (many are a $100 less). Charging $220 for knives like the Speed Goat with 52100 is near criminal IMHO. I love my high end knives, but the price needs to make sense. We're talking being more expensive than Toor, T. Kell, Compliance Edge, RMJ. Y'all are cool, but not that cool.
There's only one GOAT and that's Tom Brady
