      I’m running most all Daiwa reels on my musky setups. And I’ve never had an issue with any of them. I have two Prorex reels, and they’ve been awesome.

      I switched to all diawa two years ago for all my spinning and bait casting reels. They are a lot better than the Pflugers, Quantums, Shimano's i used before. I always have used Okuma, too, and I still do on a couple which are outstanding as well, but Diawa is not garbage. If you had a problem, either it was defective or which is usually the issue, self-inflicted user retardation.
