This was actually made about a year ago but with my transfer from my last ship to shore duty and the "getting used to my new job" routine, not to mention all the pandemic shenanigans, i took a little break...actually, i just got lazy finishing up this video. in any case, congratulations to you, Josh, on your retirement and on your 20 years of good and faithful service!

I love watching your channel. The shadow box looks great! Quick question, do you use your mitre saw for all of your 45's? I just use a digital angle finder and my table saw.

hey Russ...thank you! no, i don't always use the miter saw for 45s but this time i wanted to set up a stop block to get the perfect length to the pieces. i know i can do the same thing on the table saw but my miter saw is dialed in really well. i didn't have any gaps during assembly.
